I think there is an argument to be made about whether Hunter Biden's penalty is severe enough. He is still now convicted. Compare that to the Trump documents situation where he is refusing to cooperate with authorities. If he had cooperated per the law two years ago likely nothing happens. Even now if he works out a plea deal likely he gets a very light penalty. For that matter even if he is convicted i still doubt he will actually see jail time.

Second hand testimony of biden doing something bad but somehow after 5+ years of investigations they don't have any evidence of biden actually doing anything illegal. They have no records or photos of biden taking money or doing anything illegal or different than what trump did.
