    You've got it all wrong. If these companies don't support Pride, the socialist leftist authoritarian government would punish them. They might take away any special tax benefits the government may have provided or was planning to provide, and they could even go as far as banning them from doing business in the state. Take Disney in FL as one example of daring to overstep the local government. Also, see TX banning cities from doing business with banks that have ESG policies as another example. Damn these overreaching authoritarian leftist government.

    It would fit their "logic" of catering to the subjective perception of the minority they have labeled as oppressed, over what is objective reality and truth.

    When Target pulled some of their Pride Merchandise Governor Tim Walz failed to get a law removing Target's tax breaks in Minnesota. I'm going to compose an angry worded tweet about how Tim Walz is letting down us Lefty Socialists!

    I'm so angry about this I don't know if I can finish my Tempeh burger with organic sprouts down at the collective cafe!:mad:

    Exactly.

    So in 50 years, we’ll be looking back at all of these anti-woke types the same way.

    @AroundTheWorld
    Apparently the NAACP warning was not heard by any of the Black people in south beach having a good time or all the LGBT people apparently haven’t left either.
    It’s a place for all especially Latinos
    @Salvy
    Let me say that again Latinos

    You have the worst tweets. You do no investigating to find out the accuracy of the tweet messages.

    Do you believe the engineer was fired for saying the sub was unsafe? Is that really what you think? I'm pretty sure there are no forms related to his employment termination that say it was because he said the sub wasn't safe.

    Don't be such a gullible Karen.

    The tweet chain you posted said it was "startup culture" and not "wokism".

    I read what the CEO thinks about regulation and safety. The easy explanation for why any safety or warning was not taken too seriously is a culture established by the CEO that encourages a maverick approach towards it.

    Twitter is a great example of a place for people to easily reaffirm their preconceived and established patterns without making any effort to critically assess and analyze. It works great for lazy people who seek reassurance to feel something about themselves

    I think it's more than just 'startup culture.' Startup culture is characterized by low friction, fast-paced execution, and the absence of excessive paperwork or bureaucracy. However, taking a maverick approach towards safety, both for oneself and others, is not inherent to startup culture. That aspect is unique to individuals, particularly influential to new companies when the individuals are the founder or CEO.

    I'm just stating what was in the tweet chain. Also to be fair to ATW the tweet he reposted was responding to a tweet that said it was startup culture and have edited my post.
