He doesn't do anything but shoot. Think Ryan Anderson with less rebounding and slightly better shooting... He's a backup...
If they can aquire a decent 2nd rounder Serbian big man Tristan Vukcevic looks like a great draft and stash type. Looks like a good back up as a stretch 4 or 5. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pe...gue-partizan-real-madrid-video-stats-analysis
How can they not, its called paying the lux tax for a legit contender, to win big you have to wisely spend big
Going to guess CP and one of Delon or Morris is moved Delon or Morris could be nice here depending on how things shake out over the next couple of weeks
KMJ and #20 to ATL Tate and Capela to Houston Bullock and #10 to Houston #4-Brandon Miller after Amen goes #3 #10-Cason Wallace Garuba+ Christopher+Washington for Caruso and future 2nd rounder. No matter what happens from here on out, Wizards have already have had the worst offseason in the NBA. That front office needs a league participation trophy and deserve a ring if Phoenix or Boston wins it.
That one is going to hurt more than the FO realizes. I bet they some players in Boston cussing this one. It may be a smart move, but a dumb one at the same time.
it’s certainly ballsy. I think it’s a clear sign they love Derrick White. They probably feel like they have pg covered with White and Brogdon. If Porzingis stays healthy it could work out for the Celtics. I’m skeptical he can stay healthy, but this definitely upgrades their front court. And they get a couple late 1sts as well.
Brogdon and White are indeed a good pair for point guard. I just always thought smart came up big for them when they needed him.
no doubt. Anytime you trade away a defensive player of the year and one of the leaders of a team that’s basically a back to back finals team, you are taking a big risk. Smart has improved as a point guard every year. I probably wouldn’t have made that deal.
Not really? We could offer a pick for Tyus and just take back his salary. Or offer a talent in exchange. It is worth moving him from the Wiz perspective. He is an expiring contract, so they might want to see what they could get in return. Perhaps if we offered TyTy and a 2024 2nd (I think we have 4 of them!!) they might be interested in a swap?
This is only if we think he is worth a look. In his career he has had 94 starts and averages 12 and 7 (16 and 8 in 22 starts last season).
So many interesting assets in Washington that would be great for our depth. Some they may want to keep, but I get the sense this is a real firesale and they're not even very picky about the prices. Muscala Gafford Tyus Jones Monte Morris Would like to get any of these guys. An interesting one is Deni Avdija who according to Wizards fans was a great defender last season and was misused offensively throughout his tenure (high bball iq allegedly). Would love to grab him for depth at the forward spots too.
