And he is getting slammed on this tweet. It seems the MAGA part of the GOP don't agree with him. I'm shocked I tell you...SHOCKED! /s
2 hours? I think our minister gets less than 30 minutes for the actual sermon. It seems like such a softball for a Republican to celebrate the abolition of slavery by their party's first president. Sad that its notable that a republican politician actually hits it.
Wow, maga cultness knows no boundaries does it, this dude is a joke and his fake christian values are typical right wing extreme values where they twist the word to fit there narrative. On a side note, our preacher has this running joke at the end of service where he asks "Can I get 5 more minutes" and about 10 people raise there hand and then he goes , I got 5 here, 5 here, 5 here, 5 here.....great, I got another 20 minutes, corny but it always gets a nervous laugh like is he really gonna do that
Presidential pardons should be eliminated. It's become a ticket to keeping themselves, their family, and their associates from ever facing penalties for their crimes. It's one of the most corrupt tools our government politicians have to use when guys like Trump pardon criminals to use as puppets to help them do the unthinkable. Even if Trump's supporters had actually killed Pence, as Trump sat back and watched, his party would stand behind him. It's all about power, and pardons are their ticket to freedom. The politicians know that, so I don't see them ever voting to change the corrupt system. That's why Trump thinks he is invincible, and he has Secret Service Protection the rest of his sorry life.
Chinese history never gets enough credit. Chinese had the death penalty thousands of years ago. The Chinese philosophy of Legalism prescribed torture and death for even minor infractions.
1 polling place for >500k people? I find that’s hard to believe. But if true that’s blatant form of voter suppression and horrible for the folks of that county.
This happened in June 2020 https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/22/politics/kentucky-poll-locations/index.html Jefferson County, home to Louisville and the largest Black community in the state, will have all in-person voters on Tuesday gather at the city’s large convention center. And in Fayette County, home to Lexington, the commonwealth’s second largest city, all in-person voting on Tuesday will take place on the football field at the University of Kentucky.
That's beyond outrageous. How can that be legal? It would be nice to see some Republican supporters post that their party shouldn't be treating the voters, whoever they might be, this way. It's an assault on our electorate. On our democracy.
