11.4 a game, not even close to the top 10.

Kevin Porter Jr. does not set up a lot of shots for his team. He's not near the top 10 in any passing category. He's not great at it and pretending like it has no effect on the team is silly.

Oh no, being right between Steph Curry and SGA is such a terrible thing......

How dare our 22 year old combo guard not be a top 10 creator in the entire league.

The more you desperately try to push your narrative, the better you make KPJ look.

Factual information = desperate narrative, got it.

If only we could tell the difference between Porter, SGA and Wardell.

Trying to dishonestly frame "factual information" in a manner that makes a good thing appear to be a bad thing is certainly a desperate attempt to push a false narrative.

The "he's not even a top 10 creator in the entire league" bit was bad enough, you trying to defend that absolute stupidity is worse.

What's next, you going to attempt to bash him for "not even" being a top 10 catch and shoot 3 point shooter in the league?

That type of sophistry never gets old.

Yeah when you break it down:

    Passes Made (season)
    VanVleet 62.3....(36.7 mins)
    Brunson: 58.9....(35.0 mins)
    KPj:.........56.3.....(34.3 mins)
(KPj) 11th if you drop both nobody's Gilyard & Skylar Mays out

    Passes Made (Post All Star)
    (17 games) Harden.......71.9
    (19 games) VanVleet....63.2
    (22 games) Dinwiddie...61.5
    (19 games) KPj..............57.3
(KPj ) 4th if you go minimum of 10 games

    Passes Received (season)
    Ja Morant........63.5
    KPj....................62.0
    SGA...................61.9
    CP3....................61.4
    Jamal Murray....60.4
(KPj ) 15th if you drop Skylar Mays (5 gms), Gilyard (1 gm),
    Cade Cunningham (12 gms)

    Passes Received (Post All Star)
    KPj...........................61.4
    Jamal Murray..........61.5
(KPj ) 12th when you take out those with minimal games played

    Potential Assists (season)
    DeAaron Fox......11.6
    Brunson..............11.6
    Giddey.................11.6
    SGA.....................11.5

    KPj.......................11.4
    Steph Curry.........11.0
(KPj ) 19th.....and among these sucky no good players
not worth playing at point guard anymore.

KPj has only been playing PG full time for two years.

Yep. You exaggerated as you do about how Porter passing the ball has no effect on shooting, doubled down by saying he sets up plenty of shots the team just missed them and then I showed you with factual information that he's like 23rd or so in the league in setting up shots for others. Then you compared him to two all-stars who score 30ppg.

    "Narrative".

No, I didn't exaggerate, you can't blame the person passing the ball for other players missing wide open shots. Only a moron or a person being dishonest would even attempt to argue otherwise. The passer can't make the shots for the people they pass to. Are some passes better than others, of course, but that doesn't cause missed wide open shots. That typically either creates a contested shot, or no shot.

You attempted to make it seem like a 22 year old combo guard "only" having the 23rd most potential assists in the entire league....with SGA at 22 and Steph at 24 seem like a bad thing when it obviously isn't. Your kindergarten level sophistry falls apart under the slightest scrutiny, but you just keep on trying anyway.

Yeah Robert, keep saying you don't exaggerate while comparing Porter to Stephen F. Curry.

You're the one that picked the stat and tried to make it seem like a bad thing, me pointing out the two players on either side of him is just putting your false narrative in context.

I get why exposing your foolishness upsets you, but you simply need to up your game killer.

If you want to be so blatantly dishonest at least get good at it.

If all it takes is for a player to just pass the ball to an open man literally anybody even sengun can b point guard. There's way more nuance to the pg position, many different type of passes he lack the skills to do, many type of plays that arent utilize bc he cant make a quick decision.

Kpj can't run an offense as the primary playmaker, he can't b the center piece of an offense, that's the current reality.
Blaming his teammates for his incompetence at pg is just funny.

We been like dead last on offense with him controlling it.

Don't really see Jam Murray up there either doe... A team with a Sengun-level talent should not be playing Chris Paul-ball...

Like having a Quarterback that can't throw into tight windows and blaming the receivers for the interceptions.

He took a minor step back that has me wanting to give him another year as our starting pg , but with a shorter leash and backup plan .

I think mainly it was on defense.

I did not see the same type of effort from the get go that I saw in 21-22.

I think he really missed having Tate playing next to him and holding him accountable. Plus we lost theis and even tho wood was a **** defender , he had experience to be in the right place a decent amount of time .

Imo the thing that sucked the most about this last year is a feel like we learned very little . Hopefully Jabari is much improved this upcoming season .

sengun puts us in a bit of a tricky spot . He needs to be much improved on defense (as does our team as a whole )

I’m very curious what it will look like once KPJ and green have to earn minutes . That probably won’t happen this year .

We need some competition on the team . Did Josh Christopher and ty ty really have a fair shot at getting mins at 1-2 ?

honestly Tate was a good backup pg for us last year and he’s guard size …

I hope IME has an open competition for spots .

More like the QB hits them in the hands and they drop it.

Here are some other KPJ numbers for you:

#38 in assist percentage (i.e. should not be the starting point guard even on the 30th best team in the league)
#35 in assists per 100 possessions (ditto)
11th worst in turnovers per game
    24th worst in turnover percentage

The numbers are actually showing him better than he is. If you watch his assists there are way too many, hand it to the player and record an assist if the other player can create for himself. Not all assists have equal creation and contribution and he doesn't even get assists by finding an open man all that often. It is on Silas as well, but a competent passer will show himself regardless.

I am sure it will get better with Ime as the coach but I don't think we can allocate the sources to him at the pg spot.

    It's always about Sengun...

get KPj out of the way so that Sengun gets more touches and develops
    quicker.

Draft Scoot or Amen.......when they don't get the ball to Sengun, then
b*tch and complain that they are terrible and coach Udoka knows
    nothing about basketball.

Sengun will have seniority over Scoot/Amen

They would have squashed the development of SGA, DeAaron Fox if Sengun
    had been on those teams.
