Dubin sucked in the minors this year so this isn't shocking. Yuck.....

He's tired. Stayed in too long, IMO. As I've said, he profiles better as a one-inning reliever.

The inning is mercifully over for him. I was about to say they need to put a position player in there next.

That was his rookie hazing - eat up the last three innings and "wear" all of it. Consistent with Dusty squeezing out everything he can out of his youngsters. We've seen it with Bielak, France and Blanco as well. Not sure what to think about it but what's done is done. At least we'll have a fresh and fully-rested pen tomorrow.

I see Maldy had a bang up day defensively as well as his plate prowess. Outstanding!

The Astros have caused me to get serious diarrhea over the last week. Can I sue them to get reimbursed for my Imodium purchases?

Yeah haven't seen the Astros play like this for a significant stretch since the basement days. They're starting to not even be competitive. This is the type of play that can get some people fired.

He pitched 3 mopup innings that somebody else didn't have to. That's his job for the next week+

Yeah that makes sense because it doesn't appear that he's good enough to be pitching in any other situations.

I feel like the hooks would have a better chance of winning.

He came.in and got them three up and three down with strikeouts of Nimmo and Lindor. In a perfect world that would have been the end of his outing. He would have done his job superbly.
