he's been on here longer than you have (granted, only 2 yrs longer) and if you go back to his posts prior to 2 weeks ago, he was really positive and optimistic. after torturing himself and watch these astros play for the past 2 weeks, i can see why he's pessimistic. hell, most of us are.
As disappointed as most Astros fans are with the Astros, the Mets are even more disappointing IMO. JV and Scherzer both around a 4.40 era and 1.20 whip.

Yes after 6 amazing seasons with historic success, a few bad weeks are totally enough to make one pessimistic. Astros fans have completely lost perspective on what normal baseball fan have to deal with. I get that sports fans in general tend to be whiny b**ches when things don't go right, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. It's worse here in Houston because I know when the Astros do go into another rebuild a lot of these posters will break their legs jumping from the bandwagon.
I'd say there is a big difference between what normal baseball fans are feeling and what Astros fans are feeling.
