This deal is so bad the only reason they did it is because they had no other choice

Teams like miami 100% had much better offers waiting

Are the Suns a Threat? No.

Who is the Point Guard? Booker

Suns Reminds Me of the Nets Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce or the Kyrie, Harden, Durant.

All Iso, No Movement without the Ball.

Ayton is no Jokic, Ayton is more Evan Mobley

Washington got nothing for him, but his contract is disgusting. He's a shooter who hasn't shot good for a few years now. He's always injured. And of all the things Phoenix needed, a low-efficiency, oft-injured, undersized SG on a gargantuan contract was not one of them.

Bro all PHX gave up are Choke God and Landry Shamet. Maybe you are right and it doesn't move the needle enough but simply upgrading from Choke God to Beal is a huge improvement already.

Choke God in the playoffs: 12 pts 47% TS

Why are you calling Beal low efficiency? Dude had a TS% of 59% last season and an average of 57% last 3 seasons. He is Def overpaid but he isn't a low efficiency scorer.

I've already said this in another thread, Beal makes no sense to the Suns, especially at the price tag. He is always injured as well.

Suns making moves just to make moves I guess. They needed role players not another star lol.

Having Beal, Booker and Durant on the same team sounds great on paper. But their main problem for the Suns wasn't offense - it was the complete lack of bench depth. And it's even worse now.

Beal, Booker and Durant are obviously good at scoring, but that's all they do. Like another poster said, unless they randomly get a good playmaker, all they'll be is an iso-team.

Whys's it worse now? All they lost are choke God and Landry Shamet. Choke God played so bad in the playoffs every year and always gets hurt at the worst time, losing him is addition by subtraction. Beal is basically an upgraded Shamet. You are right it doesn't address their need but it's still an upgrade to what they have prior to the trade.

PGs are the most common commodity in the market. They can sign one from GLeague or get a ring chasing vet. Hell maybe Schroder will sign for vet min since he's done that ever since he fumbled the bag.

Plus...KD and Booker are two of the best iso scorers in the world RN. Iso isn't a bad play cuz KD had a 69%TS last season and Booker had 60%. Add Beal's 59% you basically have 3 unguardable scorers.

The goal of the game is still to outscore the other team, right? - Mike D'Antoni

To be fair, the 21 nets are probably the best team outside of the kd warriors in the last 20 years, so being like them isn’t really an insult

How about a whole mess of cheap Houston assets to Phoenix in exchange for Turner?
