Cut off portion of the tweet:

“I have also heard that the Rockets, in the event that they are unable to lure Harden away from Philadelphia and back to Houston, plan to weigh a run at Dallas' Kyrie Irving.”

I’d like a sign & trade for Cam 3/75 that includes Dewiddie 18mil expiring and throw the the biggest 2 year balloon deal at Lopez

    Dewiddie/Amen
    Green/Beverly/Jett Howard?
    Cam/KPJ
    Jabari/Tari
    Sengun/Lopez

Maybe try to resign Dewinndie to a bench role but it gives us the option of staying flexible for next offseason with his expiring contract

Sure, me you and everybody else has heard the Tilman time to win now rhetoric.
But wanting and what one may actually expect could be a bit different here.

Sure, he wants to sell season tickets holders and everyone on the idea to buy tickets cause we will be good (definitely true).
Sure, he wants everyone to know he wants to win (true).
Sure, he wants to inflate the value of players he really isn't after to hurt other teams (probably true).

But if winning is defined as a 42-40 record or better. then Tilman and all those folks he brainwashed are in for a shock.

Do not want James "I'm high most of the time and MIA in the playoffs" Harden.

Several other teams, including the Rockets, Lakers, Suns, and Magic, have been linked to VanVleet as potential suitors, while other playoff-caliber teams could emerge as sign-and-trade options.

New Rockets coach Ime Udoka is believed to covet a veteran point guard, according to league sources, and VanVleet is among a wide list of targets for Houston this offseason.

Free agent Dillon Brooks is not expected back in Memphis and is expected to draw interest from the Houston Rockets in free agency.

Milwaukee is expected to compete with the Houston Rockets for Lopez’s services.

So we could end up looking like:

    PG: FVV/Amen
    SG: Green/KPJ
    SF: Eason/Brooks
    PF: Smith/Garuba
    C: Sengun/Lopez

Sounds fine to me if Brooks is on a very cheap "prove it" deal and we don't overpay FVV too much. That team should easily clear 30 wins.

If Stone gives Brooks 18 mil then he should move to a new career field

Sounds like Ime really wants Brooks. I really don’t like Brooks but I guess I could come around on him being a reclamation project with elite D. But there’s no world where that guy should make north of $12 mil. That $18 mil talk is terrible.

Who on earth would pay that much? You don't pay high prices for reclamations. You pay bargain basement prices.

I get that he is not normally as bad a shooter as he was in these playoffs. But what if his confidence just got shot like Nick Anderson who was never the same after those 4 free throws. It happens.

Also if you are trying to change the culture of the team to be professional, poised, and disciplined; he seems like one of the last vets to bring to show them how.
