You are mistaking parity as "weak". Parity became more apparent ONLY after the play-in format, because what used to be tanking teams now DONT tank anymore, the league just eliminated automatic punching bags. What used to be 60 win teams might in reality be 50-55 win teams IF they had to play everyone who actually *tries* to compete and win, instead of getting to face the few bottom feeders who you know literally are just trying to lose. Teams out of the playoffs used to give up on the season 3/4 season in. Now they would compete till the final day, if they are in the 8-12th seed range.
I don’t think this is accurate. I just looked at the standings year to year since 2000 and the number of low 20ish wins(or what would have been on an 82 game pace) and under bottom feeders has remained pretty stable the entire time. Generally 3-6 depending on the year.
moreover, denver was chilling and went 7-9 to close the season too, Joker took 5 games off, Muray took 3, because they basically secured the 1st seed early on, as a result of this parity situation among 2-6 seed. If Denver needed it, they can easily finish a few games better. This is evident by their .800 playoffs winning %, going 16-4. Oh, and they were hyping Suns as the new super-team, until they got manhandled by these Nuggs.
me making objective statements regarding your idol and god is that? This is a revealing discussion. i didn’t know it ran so deep. I’m here if you need it, and harden is over in Philly (that’s not houston btw if it need more clarity) if you need to make your move
Lakers already figured out Jokic by putting Hachimura on him and having AD roam as a free safety. Betting on the Lakers to come back and win the series is easy money, at this point. Trust me, bro.
Still regret the rockets going full throttle all the way to the end of season. Cp, Harden and Prince needed some load balancing MDA dum
