this team with a pitching staff from 2019 prolly won't even overcome the offense incompetence.

If we dont score again, it will be 23 games of scoring 2 runs or less. Thats 23 of 71 games.

thats a third of our games folks. 2 runs or less.

    1-22 in those games

i'm curious to hear what dusty say about julks being the lead off guy with 2 walks because you know.....

dusty: walks just clog up the bases.

It shouldn't be far-fetched to start shopping Bregman and Tucker. The Astros probably aren't going to pay what they will want on their next contracts anyway. Both are pretty big names in the game and could possibly bring back a good haul.

    Off-season (re-)signings busted.
McCullers doesn’t even make it out of rehab
Brantley doesn’t even make it out of rehab
Garcia goes down; Urquidy goes down
Altuve goes down; Altuve comes back
Altuve comes back; Yordan goes down
(Credit to Bielak, France and Blanco for holding it down. They haven’t been totally overwhelmed or so so bad.)
(Credit to Dubon,…from whipping boy to “Hey, I kinda like this guy!”)
Bregman stinks, Peña meh (but all the talk is Maldonado and Julks; Peña’s stat line actually very similar to last year; Supernova postseason notwithstanding)

So where can they upgrade? Let’s be honest, they’re not benching Abreu or Maldonado. LF/CF?
Another starter or three? Another bullpen arm or three?

Sell? :D I ain’t even saying they’re making the postseason but they ain’t selling.

    PS.
•Please stop trying to figure out why Dusty does the things he does. You’ll drive yourself crazy.
•Please stop with the “They’re no longer hungry.” “Fat and happy.” “They don’t care.” “They have no heart.” “They’re going through the motions.” Blah blah blah … You’re better than that. :) You ain’t that dumb. You don’t really believe that. Frustrated, yes I get it. Dumb, no.
•Please stop with the “If everyone is healthy…”

how and why did they give montero that contract is still a mystery to this day and will be for years to come.

hell, astros downfall might be cause of montero's contract and they keep rolling him out there.
