Why? You have enough authority figures saying things like vaccines are dangerous or a con and that Russia is the victim - and people will subtly start to believe it.

Hard for me to listen to this guy's voice, I understand it's a medical condition, but makes it hard to listen.

I don't share his views on vaccinations in general, but he is not crazy overall.

He went on the joe rogan podcast and claimed the fda uses thiomersal in vaccines today and it has been causing autism in kids nowadays. Thiomersal has been banned in vaccines for kids for decades.

I can give you a million similar examples where he claims a secret ingredient is being used when it's been banned. All he does is spin conspiracies all day.

It's funny how much the right likes him

You might have missed the part where I said I don't share his views on vaccination.

Joe bidens ftc was the first ftc to ban a pharma merger in 70+ years. The entire sector of the pharmaceutical lost 6% instantly on the stock market when the ftc announced the enforcement. It's just funny how many pathetic right wing tolls pretend to be anti establishment or whatever bs you claim but don't follow lina khan or the ftc.

The pharmaceutical industry is literally taking bidens ftc to the Supreme Court cuz they're so scared and you clowns worship rfk "anti corporate agenda."

    So dumb seriously.

He would also destroy anyone who tries to debate him on cell phone and Wi-Fi causing cancer. No one knows the data on how dangerous cell phone and Wi-Fi are than him. Another area he can’t be defeated is: US mass shooting are due to prescription drugs.

I'm not sure what he said or didn't say on Joe Rogan, nor am I an expert on thimerosal or vaccine safety, but thimerosal is used in flu vaccines today in this country (as are other preservatives, according to what I've read).

Yes I'm aware it's used in the flu vaccine but I'm talking about specific kids Vaccines. It was a main ingredient for various other Vaccines toll the government banned it a few decades ago bcz of conspiracies

I've heard Kennedy has claimed in the past that thimerosal was still used in cases where it wasn't. It would be a shame if he was still doing that.

TBH, I'm not entirely trustful of the FDA and find the topic somewhat interesting. It does crack me up a little that many of the folks that are so concerned about mercury in vaccines can't seem to get enough environmental pollution,

As a side note, I'm still pretty mad about autism and vaccines conspiracy. Wakefield and folks like him have done great harm to society. In the case of Wakefield, he was motivated by greed. A few dollars for massive children's vaccine hesitancy or outright denial that has probably led to countless preventable illnesses and likely many deaths. I don't see Kennedy as being motivated by greed (but I haven't read into him that much either), but rather as a guy with a mind that easily believes in conspiracy theories. As you can see, he doesn't just believe in some global pharma conspiracy, he also believes in other conspiracies such as cell phones and Wi-Fi causing cancer, certain prescriptions causing mass shootings in the US, and the US being pushed into war at the behest of the military industry. Either way, he is also causing similar harm, but I'm more forgiving to him because I believe it's driven by his beliefs and his honest desire to help, not his greed as far as I know.

The MMR vaccine and autism: Sensation, refutation, retraction, and fraud - PMC (nih.gov)

In 1998, Andrew Wakefield and 12 of his colleagues[1] published a case series in the Lancet, which suggested that the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine may predispose to behavioral regression and pervasive developmental disorder in children. Despite the small sample size (n=12), the uncontrolled design, and the speculative nature of the conclusions, the paper received wide publicity, and MMR vaccination rates began to drop because parents were concerned about the risk of autism after vaccination.[2]

Almost immediately afterward, epidemiological studies were conducted and published, refuting the posited link between MMR vaccination and autism.[3,4] The logic that the MMR vaccine may trigger autism was also questioned because a temporal link between the two is almost predestined: both events, by design (MMR vaccine) or definition (autism), occur in early childhood.

The next episode in the saga was a short retraction of the interpretation of the original data by 10 of the 12 co-authors of the paper. According to the retraction, “no causal link was established between MMR vaccine and autism as the data were insufficient”.[5] This was accompanied by an admission by the Lancet that Wakefield et al.[1] had failed to disclose financial interests (e.g., Wakefield had been funded by lawyers who had been engaged by parents in lawsuits against vaccine-producing companies). However, the Lancet exonerated Wakefield and his colleagues from charges of ethical violations and scientific misconduct.[6]

The Lancet completely retracted the Wakefield et al.[1] paper in February 2010, admitting that several elements in the paper were incorrect, contrary to the findings of the earlier investigation.[7] Wakefield et al.[1] were held guilty of ethical violations (they had conducted invasive investigations on the children without obtaining the necessary ethical clearances) and scientific misrepresentation (they reported that their sampling was consecutive when, in fact, it was selective). This retraction was published as a small, anonymous paragraph in the journal, on behalf of the editors.[8]

The final episode in the saga is the revelation that Wakefield et al.[1] were guilty of deliberate fraud (they picked and chose data that suited their case; they falsified facts).[9] The British Medical Journal has published a series of articles on the exposure of the fraud, which appears to have taken place for financial gain.[1013] It is a matter of concern that the exposé was a result of journalistic investigation, rather than academic vigilance followed by the institution of corrective measures. Readers may be interested to learn that the journalist on the Wakefield case, Brian Deer, had earlier reported on the false implication of thiomersal (in vaccines) in the etiology of autism.[14] However, Deer had not played an investigative role in that report.[14]

The YouTube videos @Commodore follows say that Kennedy is a good guy, so he must listen. Just like he’s randomly a Djokovic fan now.

He could win Iowa and New Hampshire. Of course, since the DNC is rigging the primary those wins will be dismissed if RFK wins, but they're wins all the same. It's a topic to discuss.

"DNC rigging the primary" lolol This is just a reminder that bernie bros were the original stop the steal folks. Trump got his stop the steal from bernie sanders himself. The horseshoe theory is very very well.

Always comical seeing bernie bros and MAGA talk in lockstep. @Commodore and bernie bros on these forums have alot more in common than you think. You folks should grab a beer and form a new political party. Grifters always get along with one another.

Bernie bros + MAGA = ultimate grifters

When I hear someone that seems otherwise intelligent tell me that vaccinations cause autism - I immediately change how I view them.

It isn’t even something I purposely do, it is just so absurd that I cannot dismiss or excuse it.
