Are you saying that players shouldn’t do anything else with their minds and time except play basketball? What does social media and “side hustles” have anything to do with player performance? If you haven’t noticed but players are business partners now not just merely guys who shut up and dribble. Considering players association just negotiated licensing revenue sharing of BRI with governors. Players have minds and interests and ventures. If they want to invest in other ventures they have the right to do so and your correlation that these things are distractions are unproven and judgmental. The top players including Lebron and Steph have several ventures and initiatives (including social media) outside basketball but it hasn’t affected their performance. People in other industries and careers have ventures outside their jobs because people have interests and want to make money. Wanting players to only focus on basketball is both unrealistic and limiting.
In my opinion bball IQ is the best predictor of a prospect reaching their potential. I just don't see it. I think he can ball but I don't think he can develop into an NBA rotation piece.
you can rant all you want, but to me it was clear even before the season started that Josh’s mind was not on basketball. Don’t think a guy like him can afford that if the wants to stay in the league. Main thing is the main thing.
People like you don’t live in reality or like facts and you have no proof other than your own judgement and bias. Im just pointing out your bullshi+.
Christopher is at least 6'4, but more importantly, he has a 6'8" wingspan. The exact same wingspan as Cameron Whitmore - rendering their height difference completely moot. Height doesn't help you much when you have t-rex arms.
He needs a change of scenery and would be a great fit on a capped out veteran team that needs youth and scoring but without picks. I think Stone should look to move him to a contending team and maybe try to extract a veteran big that isn’t getting PT on that contender. If you can get a 2nd rounder for him great but JC at this point really has little trade value. He needs a shot on another team to prove he has value to begin with.
Nah JC is 6'3.25 without shoes. Whitmore is 6'5.75 without shoes. They may have the same trex arms but Whitmore being taller and extremely more athletic makes the difference.
He doesn’t suck. If given the opportunity, he is a good player. Hope he gets that opportunity. Compare his athleticism to someone like Nix and it’s off the charts. Just needs a chance by a real coaching staff and he’ll be a significant asset to our bench.

Unless Ime can change water into wine, I don't see him elevating Josh's game past tail-end-of-rotation status.
