Trade 4, 20, Sengun and Nets 2024 & 2025 swap & pick for Duren, Ivey and 6th pick drafting Whitmore Ivey Green Whitmore Jabari Duren
I really get a kick out of these pre-July "over the summer he grew/got muscles/lost weight/developed a blank bball skill" etc. posts
It's a bit of a silly song and dance, but tbf, when you're talking about 19/20/21 year old guys there actually is a lot of physical development (sometimes including height) still left to do.
Sengun haters are the ones who ae caught up about height. It is the basketball skills he has shown that have real Sengun fans excited. TBH, I could not care less how tall a player is if they can play and Sengun can play!
This would be amazing if true. Alpy being 7ft makes him taller than Jokic, i'll believe it when i see it, but exciting if true. One of the beautiful things about taking such young high potential players is they keep growing physically while developing. Imagine if Bari ends up a 7fter himself. Garuba at 6'10. Unfortunately, i'm not confident Jalen grows any taller. There's a huge difference between a 6'6 sg and a 6'4 sg. I'm also not that impressed with his muscle gains compared to someone like Kobe at same age.
and the Hornets traded him so they could get Mark Williams because he was a bit taller. I like them both, though. Duren just clearly has the much higher upside.
So Eason says . . . "Nah I'm not lying Alpi tall asf now 100!!!" And now Cunningham is saying this word for word about Duren?? I thinks me smell a rat. Too similar. Sounds like NBA marketing BS.
Because of Sengun and a bunch of really good picks. I wouldn’t do it. I like Duren, but Sengun is much better.
Yeah on Podcast P. No players are ever honest about their height. So if the Alpy information was only him saying he's 6'11 barefoot on a turkish interview, i'd be skeptical, but Tari done seent it. Jalen still looks 6'4 in shoes at best and here i was hoping he was 6'4 barefoot(if you recall NBA was officially doing barefoot measurements and that lasted like 1 season).
Sengun is by far the best player in that trade. That’s a massive overpay for those two players. 4 firsts and Alp? Ivey didn’t show much and Duren is a backup. Would be one of the most lopsided trades in recent history
