He's above 70% at the rim overall. His rim pressure is the best in the class outside of maybe Whitmore. There's plenty of clips of him finishing in different ways.

Yes KPJ has been a model point guard & leader for us and has elevated teammates across the board. Yes. That is certainly an opinion to have based on his 3 years here. We'd be foolish to try to upgrade on his tantalizing display of point guard play.

Ben Simmons without the mental issues would pretty clearly go #2 in this draft. Elite playmaker and elite defender. I hope that's the comp for Amen.

KPj would be Jalen Brunson if his teammates could just hit all of the open looks he generates for them with his rim pressure, elite shooting and playmaking abilities. He's absolutely not just black Jeremy Lin.

Blazers On Track To Keep No. 3 Unless Trade Interest Changes Dramatically By Draft

    http://www.espn.com/espnradio/podcast/archive/_/id/10528553

"Contrary to what people think, if the draft were tonight, they're making that pick," said Jonathan Givony on Zach Lowe's podcast. "Unless something crazy comes up. Some type of trade that you just can't say 'no' to. At this stage, they haven't had anywhere near that level of conversation to get fair value for that pick.

"You very rarely have a chance to get that type of talent, like a Brandon Miller or a Scoot Henderson, in Portland. So they're not just going to pass up on that unless something absolutely incredible comes out of thin air, which doesn't appear the case right now."

"I think some teams that have players that they're interested in have kind of turned their noses up at the idea of a package of Simons and No. 3," replied Zach Lowe. "And I wonder how much of that is at least semi-posturing. I asked a lot of people a very simple question yesterday, a lot of people around the league. Normally, there's a cliff between No. 1 and everything else. And we overvalue draft picks for the post part, although the top-5 are pretty valuable. I asked 'Is this No. 3 pick, given it could be Scoot, it could be Brandon Miller, is it more valuable than the average No. 3 pick?' And the answer was almost universally 'Yes.'

"On Simons, every team would want Sharpe over Simons. The Blazers are keeping Sharpe as far as I know. No one is untouchable, untouchable, but that's pretty damn close."

While Lillard has a stated preference to win now, it is not believed he is putting pressure on the Blazers to trade the No. 3 pick for the best available package and that his situation won't change if they keep either Henderson or Miller.

Oh yeah, I forgot, we're blaming him for the scrubs around him not being able to hit open shots. It's also his fault that Jalen Green isn't any good on either side of the ball.

Blaming players for their own poor performance is clearly not the right thing to do when you can just scapegoat one of the only decent players on the roster and the ONLY competent shooter on the roster.

Of course it makes sense to bring in a guy that shoots the ball like a middle school B teamer to the worst shooting team in the league.... of course that would be an "upgrade".

I'm glad you're here to push such intelligent takes.

I just watched his first game against the pro's ... the 'Omaha Blue Crew' .

I think Ausar is better. His mental game is much further along. Amen has some great athleticism , but to me it looks like his head is in the cloud sometimes and he is an emotional player . He can add power and be kinda like a healthy mini zion maybe ... if he works on his finishing and learns to control his emotions. But thats if everything goes right. His handle is ok . I wonder how big of a leap NBA is to that . Ausar looked like a mini scottie barnes and apparently he's the one thats improved his shooting. I might take him at 4 .

Amen is probably closer to andrew wiggings / johnathan kuminga . I dont see him being able to get by nba guards / much less top tier wings .
He had some good rim attack decisions . I saw some good jalen green in there. along with some bad jalen green in terms of floating on off-ball defense.

I just watched some cam whitmore highlights and that dude is probably on the same level.

Zion can shoot I think at least to a serviceable percentage in spurts.

If Ausar had Amen's athleticism then he'd be a top 3 pick . Prolly 2 over scoot . As is , some team may fall in love with his tools and draft him high . **** , I'm even skeptical of Victor , guys that big usually get hurt. Anyways , they are all just prospects. But yeah , Amen already being 20 and being so far to go i wouldnt want him on rockets. too big of a risk imo

I havent really watched much of scoot or miller yet either .

The comp people always drop on Ausar is Andre Iguodala. That may end up being accurate. The gap between the twins is largely down to the question of, what do you value more, a secondary-playmaking off-ball wing or a primary-ballhandling point guard/point forward. Maybe you can squint and see Ausar becoming Jimmy Butler instead of Iguodala. If you believe in that being his upside, then maybe he is indeed better than Amen. On the flip side, if you see him as more of an Iguodala and Amen being something like a 6'7", 7-foot wingspan Westbrook.... hmmmmm.

70% against OTE I mean yeah when you're the oldest dude in your league and nobody else is even a first round pick In your class besides you and your bro pretty sure your rim pressure would be amazing.
