Why people cares about age? There are talents that some players do not have, like play making, vision and feel for the game….he do not have any of those talents….he just bully ball….bully ball does not work in the NBA. He is a nice prospect but not a top 5

My top guys haven't really changed much. Scoot Miller Whitmore . . . Dick I want a top tier playmaker on this team again and I really like a lot of things about Amen, but I just can't get past the shooting. It's just way too bad for me to assume it will become respectable. Even Kawhi wasn't that bad of a shooter. And Kawhi was a better free throw shooter too. For that, I would just simply pass on Amen. He's not even in the convo for me at this point. I'm hoping the Rockets are coming around to that as well.
I’m truly believe Thompson is going 3rd. Even if he doesn’t, I am advocating for Cam Whitmore. Firstly, I suck at tech. I can’t chop and post a bunch of videos but I’ll say this about his passing. 1. He had to use his offhand most of the year. 2. He had some nice passes, just not many. Take Brandon Miller and force him to play with his offhand. Is Cam a willing passer? No he was not. Is he a capable passer? I believe yes. Think about a college freshman being forced to go to his offhand. Cam was superb. Villanova played slow where Cam thrives in transition. Cam is the most offensively talented player with the ball in regards to scoring in this class. Conversion at the rim=cray cray. Step backs, side steps and etc all developed for an 18 year old. Cam has a great first step with and without the ball. Great cutter to play off Sengun. His jumper is smooth and he has a go to drive along the baseline. 18 years old and s physical specimen. If Amen is there, we have to consider it BUT I am all in on this young (19 at draft) man Whitmore for our future SF.
What you believe doesn’t matter. You can post the same thing over and over. Doesn’t matter. Amen in the top 3 has always been laughable
I don't want the guy that says I can't talk about the murder case for legal reasons. It's still an ongoing issue
I hear a lot of age arguments to support Whitmore and detract from Miller and the Thompson twins, but honestly I don’t think age is as big a deal this time as compared to the past two drafts. We don’t control our own pick for next year, so it’s going to be different than in 2021 and 2022 where we could just draft for ceilings and ignore the ability to contribute as a rookie. Look at how OKC navigated their picks in 2007-2009: KD and Westbrook were absolute max ceiling guys, then Harden was a guy who had done two years in college already and was ready to be an efficient force as a 6th man right off the bat. Having a starting PG thru free agency doesn’t preclude us getting a Thompson off the bench to be a killer in those early 2Q rotation minutes. Whitmore is like a shorter Carmelo Anthony, except it’s 20yrs later and the league has shown even more disfavor than ever for a guy whose only offensive ability is to be the last person who ever touches the ball on the possession.
He's a power player with a great motor who can shoot, handle the ball and defend. He's not a point guard, so people should stop comparing him to Amen and others. Players like Jaylen Brown, etc. They aren't "playmakers" either. The Rockets can always sign a veteran pg or trade for one. Amen is a good player but Whitmore is younger and more versatile. Besides, bully ball has worked great for players like Kyle Lowry, Tony Allen, etc. if you want to call him that. That's not all he is though.
