kpj is maybe worth a 2nd rounder? I'm not sure he's worth that much but in this case he would be matching salary, not an actual part of the value of any trade

This is the part when a team tries everything to get better.

We will see, we hear 15-18 teams in the NBA are doing that, not standing pat.

I expect to see tons of moves on draft night but also teams not able to pull the trigger as well.

I think you could include KPJ, MARTIN, all Brooklyn picks and swaps…and maybe Eason for Bridges from Brooklyn. However I would not give up the #4 pick. Top 5 picks are a PREMIUM in the NBA. THE Hornets are serious about Brandon Miller, because they believe they have their franchise point guard. Do the Blazers pick Scoot? He is not going to help them win now. Two point guards? Of course they will try to make it work but they need HELP in the center and wing position. What if……..

We trade them 4th, KPJ, 20th pick and Martin. KPJ is from that area. We would get Scoot and another player for 4th, 20th pick, KPJ and Martin. KPJ is a knucklehead but I believe under Lillard we would act right….he is from that area….he averaged almost 20 points per game last season.

Not sure what the return value they expect but I sincerely doubt the plan at the moment is to pay him another 45 million the next 3 seasons when it isn't guaranteed.

I think the plan was to rehab his value and cash in, unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's much meat on that bone. I think the contract was fair and an open opportunity for him to explode and get a bag either here or elsewhere. Just isn't how it went.

They're going to have to move off him sooner than later, especially if Amen gets drafted and looks any kind of competent dealing assists.

 

Yeah I've heard all year KPj is garbage and
Clutchfans (majority) want him traded but the
Rockets will have to attach a first round pick around him.

Almost every podcast locally and nationally say
sources say, "no team will touch him."

But there are liars everywhere

 

Im lookin for KPJ to build on the good from 2022-2023.

He needs to focus on 2 things IMO.
1. Eliminating bad body language and those ankle tweaks that occur mysteriously when he misses a shot or turns the ball over.
2. Making a pass more quickly and less telegraphing his intent.

The Nets aren't blind. They can see what they have, and will look to build (firstly) around him (and later) with him as an elite sidekick.

Attracting big names hasn't been impossible for BKN in the past, and they have plenty of other pieces to use to recoup assets.

 

Udoka isn't going to Silas him. He better straighten up quick.

Silas / Silased (new slang) - to be coddled or babied to someone's detriment.

 

It’s hard to believe he has no value. Still, no need to attach a pick to get rid of him, unless he’s preventing them from signing a free agent. You just don’t pick up the option next year.

 

Ime will fix both of these or he wont play and then will be gone for sure.
