Lol, not only was I a multi sport athlete up until college. I train Olympic athletes and have sent more athletes to college than you can count.
He doesn’t need to be anyone but himself. Focus on himself, playing his game, and being a better basketball player everyday. That’s it.
Absurd to keep hearing that height is a problem for Sengun. It’s not in a vacuum. Sengun is more athletic, quicker and faster than Jokic. It exactly evens out. Sengun has the same chance of being a good defender as a young Jokic. Oh and btw regardless of Jokic getting hot from 3 in the playoffs he’s still an average 3pt shooter after 7 years in the league. Easily achievable on Sengun’s current trajectory.
Dumb take.. Sengun isn’t quicker than most opposing centers, which doesn’t create an advantage there. Jokic is bigger than most opposing centers, which creates an advantage. Nothing evens out. Him being quicker than jokic only matters when he’s going against him. Sheesh
Awwww, that sounds so sweet! Won't get him far in the NBA but how sweet. Now, on the real. I just read where Tari Eason said he grew 2 more inches which is great! But Alpi needs to work on his 3pt shot to help spread the court and sliding his feet on the defensive end.
Will he ever hit that MVP elite level? I think he has the tools to do so, it’s all up to him to put in the work. Will he look like Joker style-wise? Probably not.
I missed that response lol @cmoak1982 training athletes is what you do, I was just an athlete. Let’s just say I was better at my sport and you were better at yours. Only one I was dominant is was football, I only ran track bc I had to. Track is awful
So he needs to be someone else to succeed in the NBA? Explain to me your logic and thinking on this? I did explicitly say he needs to work on his game or you didn’t read that part?
I was an athlete. A pretty successful one at that. Now I train athletes as my profession. You may have been better at something than me, I highly doubt it though.
Idk, who knows! But I got a scholarship for reason. I tested well in everything. Durability was my issue, so I probably needed someone like you now back then lol
Bad omen for Sengun - when @Mathloom intensifies the offseason alternate reality hyperboosterism to this level it usually means the player is on the way out. Hope he enjoys playing for Efes Pilsen in 3 years
For one, he relish in being called BABY JOKIC and he patterns his game after Jokic. So for him to actually become Jokic, I laid out the things that he needs to work on to become more Jokic like.
