The assists argument is played out. Ball dominance=high assists, does not =point guard, other than that and his incorrect stats, i liked the video.

Well statistically speaking no one was ball dominant on the Rockets last year.

This is the BEST Rocket's analysis I have seen spot on other than one small error on Green's scoring.....

    Awesome and fair.....and accurate.

He was toward the top of the league in touches and time of possession and avg dribble per touch and avg seconds per touch. Someone like Joker with the highest touches, but very low time of possession and extremely low avg dribble per touch is more of a pure point guard than any of these guys who pound the ball. KPj is a pound the ball player. Steve Francis was a ball hog, but he wasn't a chucker. He didn't shoot enough even, but taking forever to break down the defense and looking for the bail out isn't a pure point guard. He's a ball dominant guard. That's what KPj is. That's the Harden, Luka, LeBron, Westbrook, Oscar mold.
True, stats will show a pure point be high in all those mentions metrics, but with a purpose to set up and run the play or in someone like Nash's case to keep the dribble alive and confuse the defense always looking for the breakdown to pass and constant off ball movers. KPj is a one on one ball pounder.

He does CREATE his own shot well, which most good lead guards do, and he is an efficient shooter, on and off the ball, and is pretty good at setting up teammates.

His turnovers dropped way down after leading the league early and he finished with a respectable number - KPJ as a PG has developed very nicely, but as a basketball player overall he has ALL STAR written all over him.

So, I don't care if he plays PG, I believe he is one of the keys to the Rox being a lot better and I think IME will make him an all star player.

What I will never understand is a fanbase or some of it actively rooting against him.

High on the future with Udoka, but this guy needs to get his facts straight.

"Led the Celtics to a championship in just his first year"

    Ummm did I miss something?

    WTF is this?

You seriously coming back with "eastern conference champs" and jumping randomly weirdly to Porter stats?

    Are you drinking?

    Calm down killer.

The video maybe screwed up by saying they won a championship; but you can't
deny they were Eastern Conference Champions.

And I took the time to collect PG stats to compare PG KPj against them....
I'll post them any dang place I want !! And I don't drink.

He lost me at KPJ is a point guard.

but seriously I’m excited about what he can be with Ime coaching him up at his natural position. We’ve got two shooting guards with massive potential. That’s a good problem to have. But that’s also why we need to trade Christopher, and maybe even TyTy so we can maximize minutes for Green, KPJ, and whichever vet we have running point guard next year. Ime is gonna want a vet that knows how to move the ball and defend running his offense.

Nobody is rooting against him, lol. There's a huge difference between doubting his potential and wanting him to fail.

There's a very high chance he's already at or very near his peak, which is not an all-star caliber player.

A lot more players than you realize could put up numbers like KPJ did if they were given the usage and free reign that he had this season. If he were a couple years younger and it was his second year in the league and he had great intangibles I would be excited. It's a lot less thrilling when you're talking about a 23-year-old journeyman in his fourth year in the NBA.

KPJ as a Point Guard, No that isn't true, he will come off the bench or get traded

Jalen Green I think should play the Point Guard in Critical Late Game Situation.

Jamaal Murray really is a Example for Jalen Green How Jalen should be used as a ball handler. Especially in the 4th Quarter and playing pick and roll with Nikola Jokic.

Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun Pick and Roll, or Give the Ball to Sengun and Let him Run the Offense.
