This is interesting and good to hear because Jabari is a similar height to Sengun, so he would know. If you see someone every day and you are eye-to-eye with them, and then suddenly you're eye-to-chin, that's something you would notice. I think hearing this from Jabari is way more credible than his "official rockets measurement" which is basically made-up WWE garbage.

Not Jabari it's Tari. Tari is 6'8 i think he could also easily tell whether Sengun grew an inch or not.

How can our worst defender know how to play basketball better than everyone else, he's our worst defender

Let's be honest, if Sengun does come back a legit 7footer whilst retaining his agility and control, the added length will negate his defense a little. That's a step closer. Add in a 18-20ft autoshot or a decent 3 ball and we're really cooking.

Most definitely! That’s a big if, but would be a game changer

@maj21 is completely delusional. The only players who could have been considered better defenders than Alpi last season were Tari and Garuba.

Even Jabari was not effective as a defender.

That’s fine, I believe that y’all are delusional. We stand on complete opposite sides with this. We’ll find out soon which one of us is right.

The problem with this is you’re speaking from opinion. Stats and data don’t support your opinion, not by a long shot

Funny thing is the stats say he was our best defender.. go figure.. our whole team is atrocious on defense. Love how you like to single out Sengun.

Our worst defender by far is Jalen Green. It's not even close. He was at a -2.6... absolutely atrocious. We can have mutombo in the middle and our defense will still suck if Jalen doesn't put in more effort

"My name is Tari Eason, and I am certified on D, and a bonafide bench stud. And you can't. Teach. That. And this right here, is Big Alpi, and he's (now) 7 foot tall. And you can't. Teach. That. And this right here, is Jalen Green, and he's hot as hell (pause), and you can't. Teach. That. Bada boom, realest guys in the NBA draft room."

Bc everyone knows advanced defensive stats are flawed. Let’s wait and see. Ima be on that ass when he’s not finishing games or coming off the bench if we sign Lopez

Hope it’s true, you can tell he’s not done maturing physically. Neither is Jabari and Jalen.
These boys get stronger and work on their bodies and shooting it’s gonna be a nice trio

So he’s taller than Jokic now? Gotta see it first. If he grew, hopefully it’s not another inch to his 2 ft neck

I’m pretty sure Jokic height listing is incorrect
