Leftists are definitely hateful, on this sub-forum. They are also not "liberal", they are the opposite. I really dislike that another positive term has been co-opted by the Left and turned into its opposite.

To be fair, its predominately the leftist who continue to insults and demean. Im guilty of this at times. Maybe I am a closet leftist.

 

On the right here it comes off as much more of a gamesmanship type of trolling approach. Copy and paste from right wing propaganda sources.

On the left and middle here, you actually have real responses which come off as more human with more emotive responses. Because it’s real there. With the wing nuts here it comes off as a game where if you just repeat lies all day long and tire the other side out, you win in your mind.

I wouldn’t say most of the MAGA folks here come off as hateful (although the policies they support obviously are) but when their robotic trolling with droves of propaganda doesn’t work the way they think it will and they are called out for being what they are… like clockwork they whine and act like victims who are entitled to spread lies and be coddled. These guys really more than anything have just proven themselves to be whiny brats in the end.

In my experience more right wing posters think "the left" is evil, degenerate, etc. whereas our left wing posters tend to get more personal/individual in their critiques/attacks.

One tends to focus on macro level hatred, the other micro level hatred. Both deranged in their own way, but at least I can say there's some nuance involved at the micro level.

Again, this is generally speaking. I'm aware there are exceptions.

He might be right though. The right does use a broader brush and terms anyone on the left as Communist, Socialist, groomer, etc.
