I think its a massive double standard. Beauty Pageants and Cheerleaders (and other examples of how we sexualize young girls) all just goes completely ignored and excused and its undoubtedly effecting more children. To me, I don't want to hear about protecting the children from sexualization from the right until they tackle that first. We have artists too like Megan Thee Stallion throwing out pitches and being nominated for Kids Choice Awards when 95% of her content is EXTREMELY sexual but I 100% guarantee a lot of the right would be cool with taking their kids to one of her performances before they take them to a drag show because its not even about the children, it's just about their deeply held religious beliefs and their fear that children being exposed to LGBTQ+ stuff is going to actually make their kids gay or trans.
I think beauty pageants for small children are stupid and terrible. The only people I have seen in the few TV reports I have seen about those who are dragging their children to that are basically what used to be called "white trash". However, that's very different from adults who are non-educators and non-parents trying to get close to children who are not their own to indoctrinate them in a sexualized way. The fact that you keep going "but beauty pageants" reeks a bit of desperation.
Who cares if its white trash? Trans people are 0.5% of the population...I mean we've had shows on this crap that have been pretty popular in America. Pageants are run in nearly every state and again...we are talking about 0.5% of a population. What reeks of desperation is highlighting an extreme minority and finding videos and then generalizing based on random anecdotal videos you find while ignoring broad sexualization that affects FAR more children. Adults trying to sexualize young children is illegal, always has been, so what are we really trying to do here? I don't care what people identify as, the actual number of people that are actually trans is low. Yes, a lot of young people are going to say they are nonbinary or whatever and thanks to the right making it a bigger deal than it ever was its now rebellious to be nonbinary, many of these people are Trenders, whatever. People are FAR more accepting with sexual content when its heteronormative. Letting her throw out pitches and even be involved in the Kids Choice Awards shows that. Her content is not for children at all, there's a reason you don't have pornstars throwing out pitches or doing other events because people see who she is, search her (as any kid can do) and the content they'd be exposed with is exactly on par of that video that keeps floating around of that Drag Queen dancing except its a woman doing it. Conservatives are cool with that because its not about children, it's never been about children, people like Matt Walsh and Knowles and all these talking heads make that clear. They don't think Trans people should 'exist'. They've literally come out and flat out said that more times than one now.

I agree that the actual number is much lower. I don't agree that the much higher numbers is (only) because of the right. That may be part of the reason (the rebellious motivation), but I think the right is more reacting to the left here. The left are the ones pushing this. Look at Antifa attacking the Armenian parents.
Here is the thing though...the left doesn't care about this issue. The right brought it up. The left is reacting to crazy proposals to ban crap that's always been there for Trans people and so the left are defending trans rights because the right is literally trying to take them away. The right has initiated this culture war, a war the left already won years ago, a decade or so ago really, why would the left ask for a rematch on a battle they've already won?

So here is the thing...to say its just the 'left' is ignoring the voices of said minority group. The majority of black people feel a certain way about race, it has nothing to do with left or right, if the majority (and in this case VAST majority) believe in something then I think the pertinent question would be...why? The fact is, the majority of black peoples views on race aligns with the left, this opinion should be respected above how white liberals feel about it or white conservatives or asians liberals etc. Finding one guy or another that disagrees with the majority doesn't really solve anything, it offers a different POV but it's not offering much why the majority feel a certain way about an issue. Historical polls have shown that black people tend to be on the right side of history when we complain about racial injustices despite many of these same arguments about 'victimization' always existing. As for moral superiority, come on man, you go around calling people evil and talking about other people moral compass, that's huge projection. You're the one on your moral high horse about this issue.
African-Americans obviously objectively have good historical reasons to feel wronged. On what that should mean today, opinions differ. I don't think the majority of black people in the US nowadays want reparations.
