@rocketsjudoka crude oil closed at 67 dollars which is lowest price in 2 years. The *only* reason why gas prices are still high is because refinery crack margins are insanely high bcz were exporting refined products to Europe and Asia. @Nook will claim dems are failing bcz their not focused on the real issues like gas and inflation but the real issue is the war in ukraine. It blinds everything else. The only reason gas prices are high is bcz of the war. If biden did a export ban today inflation and gas prices would fall off a cliff and folks would be praising the economy with historic low unemployment. Being America sucks because you have to do the right thing (funding ukr) while taking negative hits while nobody credits you.

It's literally folks are just upset over gas prices. Crack margins are nesr record highs. As soon as this war in ukraine ends margins will drop back to 10-20 levels and gas will be under 3 bucks again. The war has to end before the next election. There's no other way unfortunately
