Happy for Denver. They look like dynasty potential. Fun to watch team. Here's wishing them good health.

Respect for Miami's scrappy crew. JB and the undrafteds. Also fun to watch.

To be fair, the NBA is an entertainment product, they want to sell merch and get views.

Just look at who makes up the fan base by %, and which players sell then most jerseys. Those are the people you want playing the most games.

Just enjoy watching even though the data points to an extremely obvious conclusion: if your best player doesn't fit the mold of a top selling jersey player, you're going to he fighting an uphill battle with the league and the refs.

The league itself doesn't care about race, it cares about money. If you're going to hate anything, hate the overall fanbase for relating to certain players for the wrong reasons.

This is why I only watched the 4th quarter of the last finals game. I'm convinced that the NBA is rigged..

The power seemed to have shifted to the East. Bucks, Sixers, Celtics all looked like championship caliber teams.

Well, Miami sliced through the East only to get eliminated in 5 games, almost a sweep.

It's optimized for entertainment, which is different from being rigged. They don't care about who wins. They just want people to keep watching. Hence Aaron Gordon getting kicked in the groin is a foul on Aaron Gordon.

They saw it as Gordon taking away Butler's landing space.

I'm excited to learn that Sengun is working very hard on his 3point shot. That's what makes Jokic so good on offense.

The league doesn't care, the MVP voters do though.

Michael Jordan never won 3 MVPs in a row either. They gave it to Karl Malone and Barkley because voters get tired of voting for the same person over and over. They had no problem giving Nash the award twice when he arguably didn't deserve it. Jokic won it twice too. Lebron could easily have deserved it every year. It's just almost impossible to win it 3 years in a row. Hasn't happened since Larry Bird ... a white guy.

Yes, I'm aware of literally everything you've said.

I'm also aware Jokic would've won it a third year in a row if Perkins didn't cry out to voters not to give it to a white guy. You act like I said the NBA for eternity has been racist and only white people have won MVPs.

The fact someone who is trusted to vote on the award didn't vote Jokic 1st.

    Or 2nd.

    Or 3rd.

    Or 4th.

    Or 5th.

    Best player in the league.

    Lol.

Not one person who votes for MVP would choose Embiid instead of Jokic if they were tasked with drafting a team and needed the C position filled. But they needed to give it to the black guy. And if someone doesn't think Perk's pleading for the brother to get the award didn't decide it, I've got Houston Rockets 2024 NBA Finals tickets to sell you for a very good price right now.

    EDIT: Just to be clear:

    Stats - Jokic
    Wins - Jokic
Making teammates better - Jokic by a country mile.

Trying to put my finger on why someone would vote Embiid as the MVP over this guy.

Is this a real question. Are you a moron?
Which one of the two sabotaged this team on the order of Scottie pippen? You guys have fallen into some cult where you worship harden and don’t even like this team

harden being the greatest choker of all time isn’t a really a revelation, or that butler is better. The entire league is saying it just not the morons on this site
