I've known that for many years here. It's many years of the same people trying to trigger people. Eventually it becomes a try hard thing and eventually I want to understand why these people have these motivations to trigger. What compells them to waste so many hours a day trying to "trigger people".

I love the right wing tactic of dressing free speech and personal liberty as unique concepts only a select group of people believe in and they must defend it.

The concept of free speech and liberty is universal. Everyone wants free speech. Everyone wants individual agency and liberty.

The right wing does a good job of framing basic dissent as anti-free speech.

Hitler did it. American Nazis did it. You so it. It's an age old tactic by the far right.

I think your entire framing of free speech is inherently dangerous and is entirely the same through line as people like George Lincoln Rockwell b**** about about academic freedom and leftists silencing speech. It's the same exact energy.

The deluge of tweets on this topic is plenty, I guess it's a service for whoever is going down that rabbit hole while it subtly alters their brain patterns. Otoh I don't want trans or drag bros wearing thongs doing stripper choreography in front of kids. You can pretend it's like a woman doing ballerina stuff except you won't see that in at Olympics in the foreseeable (hope to God) future.

Decency is a charged word for many but at least do **** in front of kids that would be deemed acceptable at the workplace. If that sucks let's all find a common baseline before the inevitable backlash turns back the clock another twenty years.

It's not that you can't have a reasonable discussion of whether it's appropriate or not. It's the fact that sexualized women in front of children is normalized because it's part of the accepted status quo and the only difference with the drag stuff is it isn't something people are used to seeing.
