Generic words of advice to DeSantis supporters... If you want to be associated with candidates supported by Neo-Nazis and white supremist then don't be surprised when people assume that you too hold those same values and beliefs to be true. Denounce the bigotry and hate before it's too late. (I know you can't and won't just like DeSantis doesn't)

It would seem if it was just about the kids for you then you wouldn't be spamming the **** out of both threads; just the kid related one. However, you post on both constantly. You denigrate trans people on both. So if it is just about the kids why do you post non child related things in the other?
I know how much you would love to silence me. In addition to children's rights, I also care about women's rights. Men who invade women's spaces and sports are pathetic. It needs to stop.
It goes without saying that I denounce Neo-Nazis, white supremacists, Islamists, any kind of extremism. But that game of "your candidate is an extremist if extremists support him" is dumb. Just because some idiots (or false flag agents provocateurs, like in the Youngkin case) "support" a politician, that doesn't mean the politician wants their endorsement or has anything in common with them. Neo-Nazi Richard Spencer supported Biden. That doesn't make Biden a Neo-Nazi.

Just to clarify - Its ok to stereotype, generalize and make assumptions as long as its not against a protected class. This is the hypocrisy many speak of.

SO like a lot of other people he didn't support Biden but he knew Trump was worse. DeSantis continues to legislate for them and their agenda which leads many of us to believe he supports the same bigotry that they do.
There is no hypocrisy. If every instance some brings up racial issues and racist ideologies spreading in a political organization, you will always have this go to line to fall back on regardless of context. It's an empty talking point.
There is no protected class. You can generalize and assume all you want but I know this much to be true. If you're on the same side as the Nazi's... you're on the wrong side. Don't cry when people assume you have hold their same beliefs.
The way I see it, the reason DeSantis doesn't denounce these assholes is not that he likes them, agrees with them or cares about them - he is the type that HATES to do something because the other side tells him to do it. And denouncing these assholes even gives them more attention than they should get, in his mind. I disagree with that, I think he should just denounce them, and that's it. But I don't think that makes him a Nazi.
