HE'S NOT SIGNING WITH THE ROCKETS!!

Having stated the obvious, IF for some illogical reason he would like to return for a sequel, I would welcome him with open arms!! We are not going to contend anytime in the near future (3yrs) and we desperately need a strong floor general to lead these young pups!! His ability to stay on the floor is a concern, but I would be willing to overlook that depnding on the contract. He, like Harden doesn't depend on athleticism to be good/great at his craft! Sure the strippers won't make a dime off of CP3, BUT they will make up for it whenever Beard is in town!!

3yrs at 25-30mill with the third year being a team option sounds reasonable to me. I DIGRESS...;)

HE'S NOT SIGNING WITH THE ROCKETS!!

    GO ROCKETS!!!

10-15 million for me. maybe 20 million if we somehow draft Scoot.

it's half a coaching salary so really it's more like 7 million for playing 5 million for coaching.

Isn't he some sort of family man and a state farm mascot while Udoka a bad boy of NBA coaches - from that perspective anyway, it seems like a weird fit for CP3 to want to start coaching under Ime

Udoka had one extra marital affair. How many dudes are claiming Ime is some wild playboy while cheating on their spouse or gf at least once in their lives?

He didn't do a Deshaun Watson or anything close to that.

I'm skeptical CP3 is as clean as his image suggests lol. No idea what he's interested in, but I suspect his attitude toward hoops would mesh pretty well with Udoka's.

WTF? Yes he did.....you need to review some of the facts of the case, the man made unwanted advances on an execs wife, then was told to stop, once the exec found out and Ime went to the door and was harassing her and the husband through the ****ing ring camera, he made a major mistake and is LUCKY to still be in the NBA - but don't downplay his creepy behavior it was every bit as bad as Watson's.

The execs wife he already was ****ing?

Stop being a misogynist. Women have agency. Is she fired for an extra marital affair in the workplace?

Nobody (other than him, the participants, and the law firm involved) actually knows what Udoka did or didn't do - it has never been publicly stated what the allegations and findings were.

NOt saying this means he is more or less suspicious, it's just that there's no factual record by which to say "all this guy did was have an innocuous affair" or "this guy did something horribly wrong" - we just don't know.

That's why it was weird for Tilman to say at his press conference that you can't be "a good christian person" without forgiving him - like I don't know what he did, why/how/for what do i forgive him? o_O

Yes, most likely, but people from cali care about their PR among others things - they are shallow(liberal?) like that or whatever. You don't see Kyrie asking LeBron to trade for him (a free agent) in part because of that, probably.

What does being shallow have to do with liberalism?

Especially the part where he seems to imply only Christians are good people.

People talking about CP3 could mentor the Young ones . . .

I think those people are thinking we need an on-the-court mentor.

    I agree with them.

He made UNWANTED advances on her, after being told NO......if it was just 2 consenting adults he would still be in Boston.

Do you even know what the word Misogynist means?

In fact your post could be considered as such......

@SamFisher the facts have come out, if you care to find them.

I don’t mind the Big Swinging D Energy that Udoka brings, I think this team needs that.

Besides if he didn’t do whatever he did he wouldn’t be available. All other coaches that are available are available because of poor performance. You can always argue whether the likes of Nurse, Bud, Vogel - all Championship coaches - are directly responsible for team underperformance. There are good argument that they are NOT, and that’s why they get hired right away. Sure. But Udoka at least was not let go because of on-the-court underperformance, and that makes that affair or the whatever a net positive in my eyes.
