Diaz C If Abreu isn’t back to his old self by July 1, Dubon becomes the primary option at 1B batting 8th until Abreu can dig himself out of it.
Why can't Dusty just stick with a consistent line-up for a few games in a row or entire series? Their is too much uncertainty and inconsistent for anyone to find their groove.

I vaguely remember when George left, that Altuve didn't prefer leadoff but did it for the team. Maybe Dusty feels Altuve deserves to be where he is most comfortable and hitting behind Jeremy, that Pena will get same pitches to hit?

Ever since we heard about Gilbert having elbow soreness and being limited to the DH he has fallen off a cliff offensively. He hasn't had an extra base hit since May 21st. So might want to pump the brakes on that plan at least until he is healthy.
