This would be my bet. Uni reveal would be awesome but why would they do it now? You don't even know who will be on the team next year so not like you can start selling jerseys. It just kills your sales for this year even further. Or maybe it's even more lame than we think and they are just announcing which uniforms we will be wearing for which games..
It’s the same as announcing new uniforms a year and a half before the team wears them. A lot of strange operations coming out from Kirby.
They wouldn't actually put him on the roster, right? Just do a 1-day deal like players do so he can retire a Texan and then have some events with him? I would be surprised if they actually put him on the roster.
