What a game. Had the right guy taking the three pointer at the end, just didn't go in. Looks like we got a series!
I love how unathletic he looks. Jimmy Butler has an incredible physique. Jokic looks like Al Bundy playing pick up ball after a day at the shoe store.
been a while since i've seen a finals game that was straight up fixed like this, can't even remember the last one (granted i watched very few of the warriors ones). Denver wins easily with normal officiating, by 10-15
A few weeks ago I heard a story about the infamous scrimmage where Jimmy Butler took the B squad and beat the TWolves starters With Townes and Andrew Wiggins. According to a player that was there Butler didn’t take any shots but just set up his teammates while consistently talking trash to KAT.
That game was shameful. Butler was clearly out of bounds and hit a teammate (Vincent?) for a 3 pointer and then there was an obvious goaltend on Adebayo. That right there should be Denver 110, Miami 108. And so many missed calls against Jokić. The Heat hit an ungodly amount of 3s and had the refs help them and they still barely won, but here we have Jalen Rose going on about “Heat Culture”.
Good game. I like these close games when the rockets aren’t playing. Good win by the Miami squad. I don’t think they could keep this up. I also don’t think they Nuggets will be this inconsistent the next few games. Looks like they need Jokic to be a facilitator more than a scorer this series.
Butler was out of bounds and they hit a 3, goaltend that wasn’t called, Jokic getting killed and not called, etc.
why did the refs do this? i just don't understand why this would happen. Just silver being afraid of a sweep?
KCP's moniker should be "the Arsonist." If you told me he was a paid Heat agent, I would only be mildly surprised. He's been by far the worst player on either team this series so far and he single-handedly destroyed Denver tonight. If KCP weren't on Denver's roster, they win tonight's game. Ill-advised shots and intensely stupid fouls in both games, but especially tonight.
3 point shooting has been on fire all playoffs They will go as far as that shooting takes them. Especially when Denver refuses to guard it. I'm starting to think the secret to the game is getting more points.
The Rockets get screwed every post season game by a factor of three times that on average so I guess I developed a tolerance.
