And there is still a strong possibility this guy could be president again. And a lot of those who say they don’t like him, don’t support him, or don’t defend him are enabling him. If y’all are really serious about not liking Trump and not wanting to see him back in office instead of going to great and even tortured lengths to justify him holding onto classified docs while saying the FBI should be defunded should be pressing do the prosecution of him.
A good number of people here that say they didn't vote for him, didn't support him before, and don't support him now are not being truthful. Though not a surprise, I would be ashamed to admit it too. But when the choice is in front of them again, they know they will vote for him again. Oh, they will try to justify it. But they already know they are voting for him...
This single missing document may not be legally relevant, at this point. The FBI already has a **** ton of classified documents that Trump refused to turn over. There are enough easily provable crimes with the known documents to send Trump to jail for a very long time. The FBI (Trump's favorite!) does want to determine if the 12 year old In Charge gave the missing document to the Saudis (or Putin or ...) or if Trump just let someone else read it or ... I suppose that the DoJ could charge Trump with some "mishandling of classified material" offense wrt the document if it is truly just missing. I suspect that this still is not a charge that could only be brought due to the one document being missing, since the other documents while not missing were also mishandled. For all we know, the FBI may have other documents that they think are missing as well.
I believe that they don’t like Trump. I fully believe that most of Trump’s enablers don’t like him. The texts from Tucker Carlson showed that. The problem is that they are so locked into binary partisan thinking. The “Left” is the enemy so anything that could be seen remotely benefitting that side has to be opposed. We see people now who talk about how the FBI is corrupt, biased and needs to be defunded who were cheerleading them on back when it was Hillary Clinton being investigated.
Hillary Clinton was, is, and will always be, corrupt, and will forever be remembered as the only person in the history of presidential politics who could have lost to Donald Trump.
Though... Hillary had more popular votes. That said, you really should have included ted cruz, marco rubio and john kasich... they lost by a lot. republicans, go figure!
