The people who stormed the Capitol have mainstream GOP beliefs. They are also likely republican voters and were called to the Capitol by that the president himself. Antifa does not represent mainstream Democratic beliefs and they likely don’t consider themselves Democrats. That was a pretty lame attempt at what-about-ism.

The R's POTUS candidates either are running to be VP or to be Plan B if Trump gets his ass thrown in jail. Christie is the only candidate who will bloody Trump's nose. We will see where that gets him.
There's 0% chance of this given that Trump absolutely hates DeSantis and is incapable of mending fences. DeSantis isn't really going hard at Trump because he frankly has no idea how to - a problem that many candidates have faced. Trump's positions on issues don't matter to his voters. His ethics don't matter. What he does or says don't matter. Trying to throw a coup doesn't matter. So it's hard to figure out what to do to actually land a blow on him.

Trump is incapable of honestly mending fences but he loves it when former opponents come To him. Look at how much he relishes toadies like Lindsey Graham who called him a kook and a racists or Ted Cruz who wound even endorse him at the 2016 RNC.
