He could be a top 2 or 3 pick next year. It could be internationally-flavored near the top next season with that Risacher kid from France and Darlan from Africa, too.

If I'm the Rockets, I would over pay for Can Johnson on a short term deal, to weaken the Brooklyn Nets even further and hold on to their #1 draft pick for 2024.

    This guy looks legit!

I considered making a "Matas Buzelis tank thread" in the GARM but decided against it. I'll wait until we lose the first 2 games of the regular season.

Yes, that should be about enough time for Udoka to either be crowned the second-coming of Popovich or the #FireUdoka tag to be fired off by the same people every other post. Oh yes, and plenty of time for our 1st round pick(s) to be declared a bust. That reminds me - I need a new mouse. The scroll wheel on this one is about to die from overuse. :D

If only we could have seen him in the league before his knees were shot. Still amazing with them shot.

How do you know, given the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth?

Dirk was totally Polish, but Germany claimed him.

Slavs migrated to most of the eastern side of the Elbe river up until the 700s. Most of them were gradually assimilated into Germans over the centuries, with significant numbers of bi-lingual slavs in Silesia, Pommerania, and Prussia before WW2 where they were all expelled after the Soviet Union gave those lands to Poland.

Even then, judging by surnames, he's still 3/4ers German at least.

Soft, can’t rebound, can’t finish, can’t create. Can block shots, can pass, great length, good bounce. Scouts think his shot projects despite the poor shooting in G-League. Meh.

This is what I look for in a prospect. This thread was made in 2021 for a player drafted in 2024. As long as nothing catastrophic happens I'd still bet on a player with that much pedigree. He had a bad shooting year on maybe the worst developmental experiment of all time. I'd still bet on him or Holland to be the best in the class.
