Agreed and I did mention signing TWO vets. Now if you have two all star level vets to pair with young (cheap) talent that could work. Young talent has to be paid at some point if they reach their potential so you have to take advantage while they are cheap. Also I would consider KPJ and KJ as young vets now. No more training wheels for any of these dudes.
That is strange because statmuse gave me Bernard King who averaged 24.2 points in 1977-78 in the season he turned 21 just like Jalen. It was 79 games and 39.1 minutes per game so I know he qualified. Coincidentally he also played with a Kevin Porter. Maybe just answer the question as to who else????
Yeah, I'm really trying to follow Bobby2's logic here. So, the list that shows players who average 22+ pts at Jalen's age generally become great players is invalid because...you think the list should also include all-time greats like Larry Bird and Bernard King? Yeah, sorry Bobby2. That's really not illustrating the point you're trying to make.
I'm not following on Bobby2 but there was a player left off his list which mean it is not a reliable list. It's flawed from the start. Why 21? Why 22 points? Why ignore efficiency? I can score 22 a night at my age. Just give me 60 shots a game. Like counting hits under 21 year old... kind of a meaningless number. Also disregards all the weak parts of his game that question his ceiling... He can score 30 a night but if he's one of the worst defenders on the court he's getting the Lou Williams treatment. But the real question, what is with this made up stat obsession with Green? 22 points per game under 21 isn't something anyone talks about except Jalen and his onlyfans...

So 10 weeks off during the same season. He didn't include that in his screen. So now we are haggling over how many weeks birthdays are off? See how desperate the Jalen onlyfans are?
So you choose to rely on an incomplete list for a made up stat tailored to fit Green that ignores 80% of the game. You're going to need to do better Jalen...
Oh my God, Bernard had a 10 week advantage? That's 10 more weeks of his life he could have played basketball? Probably why he score 10% more often I bet...
It's not an incomplete list. King didn't qualify because he was 21 when the season started. Seriously, dude. This is not hard. You are embarrassing yourself.
Lebron turned 21 during the 2005-2006 season. Just like Jalen turned 21 during the 2022-23 season. That season isn't mentioned. It should be just like how Zion is listed twice (though one didn't have qualifying stats). I think your Jalen Green is awesome program is broken....
You people are some insufferable fans. Truly negative individuals sometimes. WTF is the point of sitting around all day on that team's main message board. I bet one of the most awesome message boards for a pro sports teams and biggest when taking away reddit out there ever. I personally like statmuse a lot. When I was a kid I had a brochure I think for the top 50 players all time. I used to look at it showing the top players all time in steals/block/rebounds/points etc and try to estimate where Hakeem would end up on those lists. Always thinking that Hakeem did not get his due because in part of his heavy accent. Team dynamically because he didn't have a Kobe next to him, or a Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen etc. So yeah I have looked up the Jalen Green as another insufferable person on this site states are "counting stats" on statmuse. Knowing next year everything changes in regards to intended results from the team. Green needs to up his efficiency while I hope he continues to score and climb those scoring lists on statmuse. Or for example Jabari having the most double doubles before this year than any other 19 year olds beside Dwight Howard and Lebron. I think that's cool while still understanding the context it happened in. I also have looked up stats on Sengun. Becuase again I enjoy seeing this and tracking it because I have always nerded out on the Rockets (also why i have a business finance grad degree now i like numbers) https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/wh...rebounds-plus-assists-ever-under-21-years-old I don't want Harden to come back but if he does I am hoping it works out. Green/Jabari/Sengun/ Scoot or Amen I hope get some success and it all works out. You and others like @SamFisher can continue your diatribes on how all of these young guys suck. I'll meet you closer to that if they don't start improving now that the team has literally stopped trying to lose.
That's weird. He turned 21 on 12/4/1977. Basketball reference says he debuted 10/18/1977. Assuming October comes before December in a year, I think you just got caught lying. He played his first game at 20 and finished the year at age 21. Same ages Jalen started 2022 season and finished it. Time for Jalen to buy you a new website... Seriously though, this isn't hard. It's just understanding the order of the months and what order numbers go in...
Somewhere a page or two back, this thread became Harrison Ford jumping off the crashed bus that caused the oncoming train to crash. Complete derailment.
KPJ and KJ are starting to be in the territory of being a "vet" but I want vets with high level winning experience.
It's a fair point. I think if Jalen is still here they use him for catch and shoot or cutting on screens. The offense is likely going to look like the Spurs or Warriors which will help cover up some poor shot selection by KPJ and Jalen by Harden or someone else deciding the looks they get. I think Sengun would thrive in such an offense in the high post. Adelman wanted to use Brad Miller like that... Sengun just needs to make sure his defense doesn't keep him on the bench.
[ Fair point... i think it has gone on enough. I mocked and made my point. It's just going in circles now. Moving on...
