Tilly really did us a favor embracing a full rebuild My man got us 3 top 5 picks, Sengun, KPJ, and then went out and got y’all the best available coach basically the day after the season ended This man paid John Wall 80 million to sit his ass down to give the fans the best possible chances at top prospects and y’all still be complaining

Amen Thompson sucks big time. That would be throwing away the future of the team. Trust me that he is worse than Daishaun Nix. Watched hours of film on him against the non-16 year old higher talent and he is beyond awful. Need to trade the pick or go Cam Whitmore, Grady Dick, or anyone else not named Thompson.
I personally don't want Amen but the fact that he can grab the rim and run makes him better than Nix by a mile.
Imagine a KMJ who can’t shoot (20% 3s and 55% free throws and one of the worst layup percentages in the Overtime league). Athletism isn’t what makes stars in the NBA. Most of the players in the slam dunk competition anymore are scrubs. It will be tragic if this team wastes the 4th pick on this guy and I’m confident in our good scouts that this won’t happen.
I'm not confident. They've been good with the later picks in the first round and 2nd round but from all indications when it comes to the lotto, they take whoever is deemed BPA by experts. They're already putting out intel through media that they love Amen. It could be a smokescreen but I'm pretty confident the pick is either traded or it's Amen.

i couldnt disagree more, bro... We need to spend our cap - and start making some noise. Maintain your flexibility with well considered contracts - dont be dishing lucrative 4 year deals to mid-level role players (like Tate) - but if an opportunity for an upper level player comes along - take yer swing! Otherwise, be dishing 1 and 2 year contracts, team options, etc... but FK wading the water! We got 3 years worth of tanking prospects... tons of cap space.... no stupid contracts.... TIME TO COMPETE!
There is a salary cap floor we are going to HAVE to add free agents The idea is to already have a strong team then you can go over the cap to resign you studs . but , we have no studs we aren’t ready to contend now . But we need to try to take a step forward . If all we sign is vet min guys and an MLE type then idk what we are doing . what will probably happen is that we won’t be able to attract top FA . We will have to overpay for mid tier . They will have big expectations on them to help the team grow . Stone will push for young guys PT . Him and Udoka will clash . Stone will be out . imo stone is fighting for his job this offseason. anyone could have done what he did . Guy was prolly on TF’s side on the WB deal . we need to hope Udoka is all he’s cracked up to be and we better hope the last 7 1st rounders show up .
