5 out 6 voters in Florida want more gun control. This isn't a partisan issue. 56% of Republicans are for universal background check in Florida. What's the excuse for doing the polar opposite of what your electorate wants. You can keep deflecting but this is what's wrong with politics today. I'm not a voter (yet), but if you know my posting history, I am more hardcore pro gun control than any Democrat. This crap just happens all over the country; it is a bigger issue than one particular governor. Although I do agree with you that loosening the rules even more is dumbassery at the highest level, and inexcusable.

Agreed, but the ones who actually did this are a small fraction of the overall group. Yes the people who stormed the Capitol are a small percentage of the MAGA movement yet we see even here many who feel those people are being treated unfairly legally and leading GOP figure saying they would pardon them. I don’t see many saying that violent Antifa protesters are being treated unfairly or major Democrats saying those or even people convicted during the riots following George Floyd’s killing should be pardoned.

Anyway, the outrage over "destroy woke leftism" seems misplaced to me. You wouldn't bat an eyelid if one of "your guys" were to say "destroy aggressive MAGA ideology". And that would be fair enough.

It's also one of the most heavily regulated states for just about everything. A Republican from Massachusetts isn't the same as one from Mississippi.
