Great opportunity to make a three way trade that sends Siakam and our 4th pick to Charlotte, KMJ and KPJ to Toronto and we get the 2nd pick. We then draft Amen Thompson...
That's about what I've seen from most trade proposals lately. They manage to make every team but the Rockets better while making the Rockets worse.
Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’d rather play Nix than Thompson given the choice. Just watched him play against semi pros and he couldn’t make a move to get past the defender for his life. Play after play after play. He is a poor man’s Nix and that ain’t a compliment.
deandre Ayton? From the suns? You haven’t been watching much playoffs have you ? man I’m not sure why people on here just wanna give up sengun like nothing. I see a foundation piece if not a franchise player. It’s like Denver trading away joker just to do a trade. Not saying he’s the joker but he’s def very very similar to him.
Truth is there were a minority of people who wanted to keep Nurkic and trade Jokic back in the day, so you have to stay aware that there are always some people who are very rigid in their expectation that something new can work.
We don't have 4 years for him to develop a jump shot. It was ok when we were tanking the past two years. Sometimes you break a few eggs to make an omelette
My dude, 4 years is just about exactly how much time we have to wait for [players to develop whatever]. We're not winning a championship before our young guys hit their peak years, which will be after age 25. That's just the way things work in the NBA. Most championships are won by teams with homegrown stars, and most stars aren't ready to win a title until they're in their mid to late 20s. Look at Jokic, he's only just now getting into his first finals at age 28 and he's the best player in the league. Same age MJ won his first. LeBron didn't win one until he was 27. Curry didn't win his first until he was 26. There are some really impatient people who post around here who need to study up on NBA history and see what the normal process is for winning a title.
It was ok when we were tanking the past two years. Sometimes you break a few eggs to make an omelette[/QUOTE] I hear you. but at least if we have to trade him away let’s try and get something promising maybe?
THANK YOU! I understand we're all sick of losing, but there is no team who has a situation they can be more patient with. Not only did we start drafting 2 years ago, but also we drafted younger players than everyone else. WE MIGHT NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS NO MATTER WHAT WE DO NEXT SEASON. It's not a disaster. This is the process of rebuilding. Our only job is to not add a negative or rapidly declining thing.
@OremLK You say this from your cush lofty penthouse with your golden toilet seat.....Raf Stone is on the hot seat and needs to be better than a Play-in If he has Harden/Cam Johnson. One more star is needed plus the ones that follow: Beverley? Brook Lopez? Others? Stone doesn't give a rats @#$ about Sengun developing just in time for the next GM !! Or Kenyon or Tate or Scoot/Amen/Ausar. And I doubt he has the time for my favorites in Whitmore/Jarace/Hendricks to develop in 3 years either. Prepare yourself for some earth shaking......because 41 wins ain't cutting it
Sengun is a 20 and 10 guy next year…he just need to extend his shot to the 3 point line…..Jabari is the one who need development
