Yes, I agree they will probably mostly run it back. If they make any changes at all via trade, though, you'd think it would be in the backcourt, since they have Smart, Brogdon, White all under contract. Grant Williams is an RFA and is going to be looking to get paid, and Brown's supermax is up next after this upcoming season. Trading one of their guards for a cost-controlled forward like Tari could make a lot of sense for them financially.
Brogdon is the one who would be on the out unfortunately and as you said Grant Williams and they have to address that with cheaper players. Unless they pay the tax. They keep Smart like GSW keep Draymond around.
I’d try to give more picks and not Tari if possible, but if we had to do Tari then I would give them the 2024 Nets pick, 2025 nets swap, and no. 20 this year. I’m not sure Boston would go for it. If we are truly trying to make the playoffs then I would take out the 2024 Nets pick and sub it with the 4th pick this year. Smart has one of the best contracts in the league.
Just hard to see them taking a trade that doesn't include a productive, cost-controlled player, given that their goal right now is to extend their window as much as possible. Maybe in a three team deal of some kind?
Unless JB demands a trade, I don't see this happening. If BOS wins tomorrow it will be an historic comeback and they'll be in the Finals. Interesting aside, JB is one of 6 NBA players whose faith is Islam. Noticed him giving thanks last night and Googled to confirm. While I'd be interested in JB, I think the cost for us would be higher than we would want to pay and I'm not certain that is the move to put us on a championship trajectory.

I think given past few years of events it's reasonable to ask if Brown is a Farrakhan supporter. This doesn't have much to do with the general Muslim population but Brown specifically. He isn't Kyrie level worrisome but has had some troubling thoughts in the past.

I don't think you understood the point. Nation of Islam don't accept Islam, and Islamic leaders don't accept the Nation of Islam. You can't be both. That's why Malcolm X left Nation of Islam to become a Muslim. So unless JB is a Nation of Islam follower, it's a weird question. I think the poster was saying he's an actual Muslim i.e. he follows Islam and not the Nation of Islam. A Muslim has no reason to support Farrakhan, unless they're anti-semitic I guess. So your question becomes: is he anti-semitic? Which is probably troubling to Muslims, because being Muslim has nothing to do with anti-semitism. Perhaps if he was Arab since growing up in Arabia, there's a lot of anti-semitic conditioning growing up.

I don't think it's a Sunni Islam thing so I'm not sure you're quite grasping it. Nation of Islam just nominally contains the word Islam. If Nation of Islam was called Nation of XYZ, then you wouldn't ask if a Muslim believes what they believe. Your concern is valid of course, but I was just clarifying the other part which is that there's no link between him and Farrkhan (again, just as I understood it because the poster said he's Muslim). If he's an anti-semite, he's an anti-semite. Anyway, this is ruining people's experience outside the D&D and I'm not interested in the depths of this discussion.
