Derek Lively is the guy in this draft outside of Wemby that will have the most impact.

I would take him at 4, if I had to....would rather trade down and get him but I think he is going to be that good....and for years to come.

And he helps us now a stretch 5 that can rim protect.....he is the best prospect not named Wemby.

    IMHO.

Pro day workouts are scripted to make you say "get this guy at all costs"

    Good job, Lively team.

WOW! That is our missing piece. He won’t last long in the draft if keeps doing that.

Doomed to be the next Javale McGee. Shame, I was all onboard with Lively at #20, too

If we have to take someone with the pick he would be mine.

Come one Javale couldn't shoot like that, and couldn't get into Duke if Einstein tooks his entry level tests.

Why take an unnecessary risk - trade up to #2 to get him (or #1 if we can post a surety bond with SA to not pick Wemby)

Call me crazy, but I might consider him at 4. I think there’s a real chance he goes top 10

He's starting to pick up a lot of buzz. Was hoping he could be the guy at 20 but it looks like there's no way he'll last that long. He might just push into the lotto.

Yeah I concur. Pack 20 and a young guy for him or pack 4 and 20 to trade down and get a veteran / young guy / future pick and draft Lively! I’m not enamoured with Miller nor Thompson twins.

I like him. Not at all costs, but I like him. I’m not excited about adding two more rookies without a massive consolidation trade but he clearly fits a need. As others have said, he won’t be there at 20. He wouldn’t be an option for me with our earlier pick relative to the other prospects available.

You can't script JUMP SHOTS....either you make them or you don't.
