It's over. Miami goofed big time. It's a shame - with Denver/Miami would've enjoyed whoever won. Now I'll be upset if Denver loses to the Celtics.
Nuts! Same position, same shots, same arena…Why couldn't Celtics make all those shots in 1-2 game of this series? it blows my mind…
Gabe has been doing very well for them they are really f'd if he's out for remainder of the series. Being a team like Heat has downsides like you are having to rely on role players to play like they are lite. I mean you are pretty much screwed if Butler isn't feeling it that night. He is playing with bunch of role players. If Tatum isn't sh*t you have Brown. If Brown is bricking Smart can do some things. Horford can defend and make an impact. They don't even have Herro. Spo is truly elite, man. Hands down the best coach in the league atm by a wide margin. This team has no business being here. They are that polar bear in polar bea-Arkansas meme.
What a vegas line. Boston is favored by 3 on the road going into Miami Could this comeback from 0-3 really be happening
He was already in the avoid the sweep game. Scott is being saved for game 7, especially when he just reffed game 4
is 3 too low or too high in your opinion? Miami is not a good team and their shooting luck has returned to earth
I don't think it's either cause it probably won't even come into play. The fact that they remain a favorite on the road doesn't look good for miami when they just had all the momentum not too long ago. It would look a lot better to me if this was a pick but there's enough miami backers out there that would take them as a dog any day, especially with how Miami's dog culture is set
Coach Spo might've blew his shot when the Heat were up 13 in the 3rd quarter of game 4 and Celtics had like 3 or 4 misses in a row. The problem is the Heat had no sense of urgency during this. Also a bunch of Heats fans were still out of their seats from halftime. Smart teams like the Warriors are perfectly aware of this and take advantage of this lack of stadium energy at the beginning of third quarters all time.
People overreact to single games in the playoffs. A couple days ago, Jimmy Butler was Michael Jordan, Joe Mazzula was the worst coach of all time, and the Celtics quit. Now the Heat suck, their best player Gabe Vincent is hurt, and the Celtics are going to make history. Calm down. It’s still 3-2. They’re in Miami. There’s a reason no NBA team has come back from 3-0. Teams win 2 straight all the time, but It’s very hard to win 4 straight. I don’t even like the Heat. I live in Boston. I just don’t have much faith that this particular Celtics team is going to be the one that makes history.
Rather than looking at 0-3 odds. Think it best to look at high seed sweeps in the playoffs, because ultimately, that is what Boston has to do. There have been... 79 (First Round) (22.4%) 43 (Second Round) (15.47%) 18 (Third Round) (11.61%) 7 (Finals) (9.21%) This makes it seem a lot more plausible on paper in terms of can Boston accomplish it.
This Celtics team has been up and down in drastic fashion the entire post season. There is just a good a chance of them ******** the bed as it is winning the next two games if it gets that far.
I really "feel" like tomorrow is the deciding game. If Boston wins they win the series; if Miami wins IT IS the deciding game in the series.
Also the heat shooting 42% from three this series after shooting 34% in the regular season, they've shot in the low 40's all postseason too, including in the last two losses. Reverting to regular season form now will end their season.
