Episode 11 is unbelievable television it is streaming now.......as a father, I am just in pieces watching it. What a GREAT GREAT TV show. DD
I read something where it said they are writing this season in a manner where it keeps the door open for a 4th season.
Man, love Ted Lasso, but I feel like they wasted lots of time this 3rd season just to pack most of the good stuff in the last 3 episodes.
Do you guys think they will do a season 4? Clearly Ted is going home to be with his son.......can it be a Lasso without Ted? Could Ted and his boy move to the UK during the season? I really don't want the series to end. DD
IMO he gets back with his wife and they all move to the UK. In the episode about her going to Paris with the new "love", they laid an opening at the end of it where it looked like she was mentally weighing out her options with life with Ted and life with this new guy, while Ted was gazing out of the apartment window. The new guy that was obsessed with taking selfies and being very self absorbed was executed so well in a brief 30secs to a minute without them having to explain anything. It was subtle, but I think theres a chance for Ted and the wife. Also, I forgot which episode, but it was recent one, that Ted also pulled out a green matchbook. that could be a tie in to Rebecca with her psychic reading earlier in the season. So maybe they give it a go? It does make sense, a little, since they both have shared their most vulnerable thoughts and moments together. As far as a spinoff, it could be done, but wont be as good imo. Ted brings a light, kind, good-hearted but goofy personality to the show which adds very much needed comic relief in moments where this show just pulls on heart strings.
Only if you involve yourself in professional soccer or date the girl in the next Greek Turkish dinery.
I was sobbing like a little girl the last 10 minutes or so of that episode. Jamie and Roy need a spinoff.
Coach Beard doing Coach Beard things all around London/Europe. "Piggy Stardust", are you kidding me? And the thing you said.
If a US Coach really did that in the Premier League, they’d be offered the Team USA job. So, maybe he quits to be with his son, and Season 4 is the life of Team USA’s coach?
Yikes...I hope not. He's definitely going home. I think Beard stays and works under Roy Kent who is named manager, along with Nate being brought back. I don't know about spinoffs or which ones would work. All of the characters work so well as an ensemble, I struggle seeing one, outside of Ted himself, that would work as a show independently. We'll see what happens next week but I think the story is wrapping up nicely and, as much as I love the show, would not be disappointed to have this be it. Would be nice if they do a Parks and Rec ending and show us a few years down the road for some closure.
