I think that’s absurdly stupid reasoning. “He’s your guy. You’re king now.” Uh, no. He’s played two years and if the team doesn’t have confidence he is improving in the right areas and they think adding Harden makes them a better team — even in short term — then that’s a lousy excuse. Like once you draft high you HAVE to stick with those guys. I just think these players are narcissistic and live in bubbles. Team’s responsibility is to win, not placate the players’ egos.

Paul George needs to STFU, why is this guy trying to f#ck with other players money? Worry about your situation in LA, I wouldn't pursue you or Kawhi personally at this point either.

Jalen Green has led the Rockets to two 20 win seasons and he’s considered “King of Houston” now? That sounded crazy coming out of Paul George’s mouth

just because u were drafted high, that doesn’t mean you’re automatically the franchise player and king while having no significant on-court results

If Harden does end up in Htown, gotta believe Brown will be here as well.
Even if Harden doesn't come, I could see signing Bruce Brown (4 years, $40M)

Really hard to workout both salary and minutes-wise without finding Porter Jr another home. Perhaps if we S&T Porter to Philly for Harden.

    Hypothetically speaking (No Harden)
    48 minutes at PG / 1 + 48 minutes at SG / 2 = 96 minutes

    KPJ (30) - Black (hypothetical) (12) - TyTy (4)

    Thrilla (30) - Brown (16) - JayGup (4)

As a point of reference (and I am not saying any future rookie is on that level), Kobe played around 15 minutes per game as a rookie.

I have never heard anyone actually complain about Harden being a bad team mate. Seems to be a made up bs that only exists on Clutchfans.

In fact most players that played with Harden over the years had nothing but great things to say about him on and off the court. I remember when Harden forced his way out of Houston, EG refused to say anything negative about him.

I would still roll with Jokic, MVP or 2nd Place MVP in his prime and Denver maybe not done after this season.....continuous Playoff push.

That is one chance in a lifetime for a role player like Brown.

https://www.yardbarker.com/nba/arti...he good run they,no longer had a relationship.

It is not that he is a bad teammate, but more competitive player, even his friend Brodie, they cannot fathom his aloofness, it is a difference in opinion and attitude at times.

    Different directions.

Being a good teammate and being a good leader/mentor are two different things. The reason to sign Harden is for him to help the young guys grow, not just to be nice to them.

Especially when one of Harden's moves to be a "good teammate" is to throw gifts or honey buns at people.
*Buying people to be his friends with money and goods

That is a sign of a big spender for sure but not a sign of someone who is really caring about the stuff that matters....but maybe he has matured to the level......

Still wish him good luck, he will have plenty of things to take his mind off basketball, his sad, unfortunate private matter.

I hope the people that have already seen his act many many times before have learned their lesson.
