not really. they've all done much more than Book on their own to this point. no i didn't need butler prior to this playoffs to say he's still better. I don't think Book is that bad but I definitely don't consider him a top 10 player
Butler hasn’t done anything the last couple of years in the regular season. It’s this years playoffs and let’s admit it, No one thought they’re beating Milwaukee or Boston so no, no one thought butler was this good in the playoffs but let’s not forget his what 33 yo? Booker is easily top 10 while is younger my friend
Butler was all nba 3rd team in 2020/2021. all star in 2022. all nba 2nd 2023. he's done plenty. you don't speak for anyone but yourself and clearly you had no clue about butler since apparently hes done nothing the last couple of years (who's accolades in this time frame trump bookers) and hes already led the heat to the nba finals. No booker is not in the top 10
L Lol. All nba 2nd team and all star ok so did booker what’s your point? Why You got all defensive and **** lol ? You don’t have to agree with me but look at both players numbers last couple of years and only someone dumb wouldn’t call booker a top 10 player. Ja is not better than booker lol maybe at dunking. butler last 3 years 3pt% 2020 is %24. 2021 is %24 2022 is %23 2023 is %35 I’ll leave rest of the stats for you to look.
Nah booker didn’t who made his only All nba team last year. Omg not his 3 pt%. It’s settled. What are you 10. Based off your grade school logic it’s probably true. Your first claim but but but butler hasn’t done anything in the regular season the last few seasons. Proven wrong by accolades. Now you hilariously pull up some 3 pt %. Who gives af I know I don’t have to agree with you. I don’t need you to tell me that. Of course I wouldn’t agree with something that isn’t true in reality. And someone with your foolish logic. Please
Jonathan Givony: "Based on talent, [Brandon Miller] should be the #2 pick in the draft, and I believe if the draft was held tonight, he would be the #2 pick". Also mentions that teams did not like Miller's answers during interviews in regards to the gun incident
Woj isn’t giving his own player breakdowns, he’s just telling u what other FO’s are saying…FO’s around the league and their draft guys view this as a 3 player draft of Wemby, Miller, and Scoot
Which means some damn good players will be available. It always is. Hell the Joker went 41. Teams have to do their homework.
I'm on the NBA draft subreddit a lot and having real doubts about Miller's upside is fairly common there too (and I believe there are professional front office scouts/analysts who post there anonymously). I think he's widely regarded as an excellent prospect even by those who don't think he has star-level potential though. That includes myself. I think he's a very safe bet to be a good NBA contributor. I just see his ceiling as more in the range of 1x All-Star Danny Granger. As opposed to 6x All-NBA Paul George. Remember too: Keegan Murray was picked #4 last year. That dude will probably never be All-NBA. There is value in safety and having a high floor. A guy you're very sure will be a good starter in short order is a very nice value on a rookie contract even if there's little chance he'll ever be better than that. YMMV. Some people do have higher opinions on Miller's upside. Maybe they'll turn out to be right and us doubters will be wrong.
4th pick syndrome. Gotta hype the guys who will still be on the board and downplay the ones who will be gone. before the lottery: "wemby or nothing" after the lottery: "he won't last, too skinny, a lot of question marks"
I'm hoping Miller falls because of the Ja stuff going on, or teams fall in love with Miller and Amen and Scoot falls to us. Probably unlikely "if" scenarios. Miller or Scoot are locked in 2 and 3, we just don't know the order. I can't see a team trading to 3 with Portland for Amen or anyone else when there's been a clear lock on top 3 the entire year.
They have him comp'd as a less athletic PG or a Danny Granger. People think he's a safe bet but the mf pulled a strap at will that killed a 23 year old woman. These are the goons he hangs aroung with. Im surprised he's not in jail. The nerds love 3 point percentages. Look at Kispert and Jabari, media highly ranked players that are struggling to be role players
