Keep preaching bro..lol.. The left is as much of a clown show as the right. I’d say they are both just as disastrous for this country.
GOP wastes all this time fighting the culture wars and threatening to default the country to score political points and get their base to the polls, meanwhile it's just a front to help rich people keep more of their wealth. At least the Democrats stand for something other than hating on LGBTQ and minority culture - or just being against whatever liberals are for. DeSantis vs Trump is going to be ugly and petty.
What was that about rephrasing again? It was banned from elementary school. I'm surprised you find this acceptable.
Why does it not surprise me that Twitter Space isn't designed for half a million people. Oh my goodness. You would think someone tested the BW before doing this.
If non-obscene speech is made unavailable (or at least more difficult to access) to a group of people because someone else found it offensive - is that censorship @Os Trigonum ? Sure does sound like it to me...
That is an issue, but that's not the trigger for banning this book. An individual trigger the ban with the below. FL law enabled this as many have predicted.
trump isnt wrong when he says that he is the reason meatball won the governorship. trump is going to destroy desantis and possibly kill his political career. trump is in it for himself and if he doesnt get the nomination he will burn the GOP down. its going to get ugly and very, very funny. there is a reason that ted cruz, who desperately wants to be president, is sitting this one out. look what trump did to him in 2016. his only option is to wait for trump to die...he will not run against him again.
Lolol. But instead, the live audio event just wouldn't take off. After 21 minutes of crashing and echoing and chaos, it abruptly ended. Many on Twitter had a one-word description for it: "disaster." The start of broadcast was delayed for a few minutes and then it cut out twice. Tech investor David Sacks, who was supposed to introduce the event, could be heard saying: "The servers are melting." I want to take this moment to savor the rotten fruits of Elon's disastrous Twitter reign (including getting rid of SRE etc) bursting over Puddin Ron's big human suit while Elon looks on That's the good ****. Right into my veins. More, give me more please: During the discussion, Sacks claimed the audience on the Spaces was one of the platform's largest, but Earnest Wilkins, a former Twitter employee who helped produced Spaces, said: "Lol this isn't in the top 150 spaces by size in the history of the product." Man i might start smoking now. Holy ****. @tinman @AroundTheWorld @Space Ghost - maybe see if you can get your $8 back!
I know you don't care about facts. So far it has been credited at #3 @ 300k live listeners. This was on David Sacks account. Before it crashed on Musks, it was climbing past 750k with claims up to over a million trying to tune in. 'Total listeners', which simply means replay, is sitting at 1 million. This is also currently #3. I understand math is difficult for you. I suppose in the grand scheme of numbers, 3 and 150 are very close to each other. But I guess some former employee who created Twitter spaces knows better.
!!! Just looked it up. My HS social studies teacher was full of ****. Felons can run for and hold the office of prez. But people who had a part in insurrection can’t.
Putting aside whatever nuances are being used to calculate concurrent listeners of the announcement. Its still a pathetic result. The largest twitch stream ever had over 3 million concurrent viewers and that involved streaming HD video in addition to audio. Youtube has had over 8 million concurrent videos for a live event. Regardless of the explanation, this event was a failure. This should be the type of thing that you scale up tons of server capacity (capable of handling millions of listeners) in advance. But they were doing everything on the fly and so it naturally crashed. Plus, Twitter spaces is audio only so it requires a fraction of the bandwidth of a Twitch or Youtube live stream. There's nothing to defend here. Twitter did a lousy job on an event it knew was happening in advance. This isn't something like an organic spaces that suddenly blew up. They could have prepared for this whole thing and failed.
Putting all nuances aside, this isn't a Twitch/YouTube or whatever comparison. Perhaps when you become a software engineer and fully understand all these platforms infrastructures, then you can speak more about it. Musk and other engineers have stated Twitters infrastructure has been band-aided together over the years, making development very difficult. Twitter was never a serious content streamer. It's the direction it wants to head going forward and still has a ways to go. The metrics being measured is Twitter growth and interest. This particular event should be measured against cable news network, not youtube or Twitch.
I too hate record low unemployment, caps on insulin prices, and major investments in our infrastructure. This **** is just as dumb as blaming children’s deaths on transgenders reading them books.
Lol.. this is exactly what’s wrong with society.. I state the left is equally as stupid as the right and here you are going full stupid with the “children’s deaths are due to transgenders” ****. So is it the left, right, liberals or trump nazis using the transgenders as a tool to push political agenda’s?
