He has more rings than MJ, won as both a player and a coach, had a long career and won with different teams compared to MJ who never achieved anything without Phil Jackson and Pippen. That's just false narrative how can Magic overshadow Kareem when Kareem played for like 20+ years and Magic had a short career due to his aids? Dude even has more rings Magic and way more MVPs than Magic but somehow he got overshadowed? Nba leading scorer as a big man and had that record for almost 4 decades but got overshadowed lol. MJ stanners just pumped up Magic cuz they know Magic can't beat MJ in the Mt Rushmore debate. It's the same tactic they tried to do with Kobe vs Lebron, make Kobe seem better than Lebron cuz everyone knows MJ is better than Kobe. This is what happens Basketball is a very emotional sport and when discussing players people always get extremely biased. But as time goes on people don't have any attachments to these guys anymore and can analyze things objectively. I got no love for either Kareem or Magic that's why I can say Kareem is the old goat and Def better had a better career and accomplished more than Magic. It's also the same reason why more and more people are saying Lebron is the goat cuz we don't have any emotional attachment to MJ. In the future people are gonna be saying Giannis is the new goat or w/e cuz then those guys have no bias for Lebron.
Neutral on MJ, never even watched the original SpaceJam until very recently when it was free on HBO max (last year). I'm not a MJ fan. I'm anti-Lebron. There's a difference. . That OKC game was only about Lebron breaking the record, I had to mute the game, because very little basketball was actually talked about.
