His home country was right to label him as a terrorist supporter. No room for those that align with a white supremacy and domestic terrorist supporting group like CPAC in the NBA. He should just retire and go work for Fox News.
I'm glad he gets to pursue that now. I mean it's a legit cause IMO, he just sucks as a player so I'm glad we didn't give Silas another veteran presence to keep around.
I mean... It's probably accurate since no one wants the trouble that comes with signing him. With all the trash players in the NBA that play no defense he doesn't stand out as the worst of them, probably. It's just that the fact that he isn't very good while ALSO bringing some problems with him that makes him undesireable for any nba team.
Wasn't he supposed to be following Royce BeWell White.... He had interest to become a wrestler. The Freedom.
I don’t know if he’s being blackballed or not. I do know that if you’re a believer Kaperdick is being blackballed, you have to believe he is.
Except they are completely different leagues and not really the same situation. Kaepernick's beef has to do with social justice causes in the USA leading him to kneel for the anthem. His beef is with the country (of America) and that's why he decided to kneel, to prove a point. The white conservative NFL owners didn't like it, and the white fanbase of the NFL didn't like it so he was bad for business. He was not toxic to any player in the locker room. He was toxic for the league's pocket books in addition to going against the NFL owners' politics, which is why they blackballed him. Kanter or "Freedom"'s beef is with the league itself for doing business in China, while also calling out the league's most important player LeBron. Most guys in the league respect LeBron, and having a dude that openly talks smack about his ultimate employer and a guy that everyone in the league respects, makes his teammates think that he's probably a toxic presence. Trust me, having Enes Freedom playing on a team would have no impact to the NBA's bottom line. If Kanter was really good still, he'd be in the league. If he wasn't viewed as a toxic character, he might be in the league based on his diminished skillset.
You got triggered by the word 'Kaepernick' so you focused entirely on what's different and not on what's the same - which was the point. What's the same is they are replacement level players who are replaced. If they want to pursue their various causes, good luck to them. Kyrie Irving, talented as he is, might be out of a job soon.
Kyrie is very different though from Freedom/kap because he’s actually really good. It wouldn’t SHOCK me if he doesn’t get a full max contract, but there’s no way that he goes unsigned. When you’re a mediocre backup and a distraction (tebow, kap, freedom) its hard to justify signing them
no team has time to deal with this clout chaser when he’s not even good to begin with this dude more worried about attention seeking than hooping
