Denver not only snatched his soul, they took away all his love for his son. No hanging around to play with the kid.

He will retire for a year only to come back to play with his son. I’m calling my shot. Seems pretty predictable.

It will be hard to find another wingman better than Davis. but they/he need one more guy to ensure the title. LeBron is still capable of being the guy, or being the wingman, or being a third. I don't foresee retirement. He's right on the cusp of another title.

LeBron, I thought, was content with two titles. His transition to Cleveland gave him a title by pure accident. It was a move to ease his heart. He ended up with a title. His move to LA was for lifestyle, but he also knew if he could bring a title it would secure his legacy on the West Coast. So I don't think he was ever passionately seeking more than two. It just happened to work out. Think he wants it. But he's not going to sell himself to get it.

If he stays in LA the pressure will continue to mount. And I don't think he wants to go out on LA's terms. I think he would like to go out on his own terms. So I see him playing, but for a franchise who would be happy to have him, rather than one who is putting up with him, as he nears retirement.

He could go the Jordan way and retire 2x. Play some football.....

One of those postseason melancholies when your best was not good enough but it was still good.

Somehow Harden is still going strong, that is how you not really care, you get paid.

Should have stayed in Cleveland. The fans there would have been happy to just run it back with him into retirement whether he brought them more titles or not. Better for his legacy than that asterisk bubble title any day.

No way he retires when he is this close to playing with his son.

Retirement comeback makes a good story. Ask Tom Brady, MJ and everyone who did it.
