Why is Julks starting over Chas?

 

Correct.

I expect to lose 2 of 3.

 

Not quite understanding the extreme hatred for Julks.

Chaz is an ok hitter, but certainly nothing to write home about.

The only thing we need to be concerned about is Abreu and how long he'll be wasting our time in the all important 5th spot.

 

lol Diaz aint gonna see the light of day again. Dusty pretty much told everyone to shut the **** up the other day about Diaz.

Julks was a huge surprise to make the roster, then got off to a good start. He had .745 OPS through the end of April, not great, but solid

Since then though, he has a .414 OPS....414!
For comparison, Abreu is at .527
Maldanado is at .738

Those are the two biggest CF whipping boys and both have been SIGNIFICANTLY better than Julks over the past 3 weeks.

Now about half of that time McCormick wasn't available, but there really is no comparison between the two, especially over the weekend when we were facing LHP which McCormick absolutely crushes but still can't get regular time against

It's just frustrating. As I said earlier, hopefully our pitching is good enough to overcome Dusty again. He has only had 1 team in 26 years that was

 

Yea Brown needs to admit defeat and send down Diaz so he can develop. They can bring him up next year when hopefully Dusty is gone. Otherwise, might as well trade him

 

His OPS over the last month is .433, he's not any good and he's playing...a lot.

 

What a shame

 

The $34.5 million for Montero that could have been spent on Michael Wacha and another quality relief pitcher.

Wacha is 5-1 with a 3.58 era. Wacha got signed for a scant $6.5 million a year.

What could have been.

Eventually both Bielak and France are not going to be working out and we will be in a bit of trouble with a Dusty-suppressed offense.

 

let's see if the offense can score more than 3 runs today.

The only problem is I called for it from December through January for 2 whole months. I must have sounded like a broken record in that off season thread. I referred to him as Wacha Flocka Flame.

And I led the charge hating the Montero signing.

Too bad I wasn't in the ear of Crane instead of Bagpoor.

 

Baffling. Fooking baffling that Julks gets more ABs than Chaz and near triple the ABs that Diaz can get. But Maldy keeps pounding throws into the dirt.
