This is so true. we are being disrespectful to Denver. Im sure as hell not thinking of them as the overall best team. that's why we are all so surprised they are beating the lakers, lol
NBA is woke tho, the theme in the recent years have been minority representation. We're finally getting it now I guess!
"I hugged him and said, ‘Hell no. You're damaged goods, you have no trade value. We'll just have to hope you come back and give us some value, because cutting you won't give us any salary cap relief.' "
to be fair, i haven't been paying attention to ball for the 3 years the Rockets have been bad. The last memory I have of the Nuggets is them ducking the Rockets so they didn't have to face Harden and Clint Capela in the playoffs.
I picked Denver in 6 It's not so much beating the Lakers. It's the fact they're verging on sweeping the Lakers despite a healthy LeBron and AD Appears this series goes FIVE max
I figured given how Lebron & AD played against the Warriors, they'd put up a bit more resistance, and they've been in each game to be fair. But Nuggets just have too much fire power. Gotta love all the people who acted like the Lakers would just go 4-0 again...national media still don't want to give the Nuggets credit either. Gotta love it. As predicted before the season, Nuggets will win the trophy. And they're not even playing their best ball, MPJ & Gordon have been ass this series. So once they are unlocked, watch out.
Could be just anti-lakers sentiment; but most folks here the thread poll has Nuggets over Lakers. This playoff had some upsets, but it shouldn't be surprising when the #1 team in the West beats #7.
Would not surprise me either when the 7th team beats the No 1 team when the 7th team has the arguably GOAT of the modern time and an arguably Top 9 Player in their midst. The Nuggets are just better.
We're still the lowest seed to ever win it all. No 7th seed has ever done it. LeBron is still a top 10 player, and it's absolutely ridiculous how well he's aged, but he does appear to have lost a step on defense in particular, and his scoring efficiency isn't quite what it was either.
