So our bullpen is now taking shape. Pressly back to form as dominant closer. Abreu/Neris share 8th inning duties. Montero/Stanek share 7th inning duties. Maton 6th/7th inning.
I'm curious to know what is really going on here, because this is the most goofy, strange, inept lineup I have ever seen when you look at who is on the bench.
The Abreu thing is embarrassing. I personally would like to see us make a mid season change at manager. Dusty absolutely doesn't deserve to be managing any MLB team based on just the use of this one player. We don't even have to get into the Montero fiasco.
The Orioles took our blueprint and AGM Elias. They tanked for 4 seasons. They definitely look like the better team right now. They are very tough.

And coming from behind in many games. They are special. A great group of great young players. They have last years number 1 overall pick in the minors as well. Their farm is stacked. They could use some pitching but they have it on the farm and could easily land a pitcher before the deadline. They already have the best catcher in the game.
Orioles haven't done anything. Sure they have some young talent, but so did the Blue Jays not so long ago and they are last in their division currently. Nothing matters until the bright lights come on. The 2015 Astros grew leaps and bounds in that playoff series against the Royals. They got a little taste of sucess and had it ripped from them by Will Harris might I add. I would argue the Astros have the most clutch MLB team of all time. They play above their regular season level every year when it matters most. That is all that matters.

well of course they haven’t done anything yet. They are not like the blue jays were. They are a lot more like the Astros were in 2015. They actually look much better than that right now. This was all expected though, as they have tanked for 4 years and have a plethora of very high draft picks. It wasn’t expected to really come together until next year but its happening now. I dont know is this is a hot take in the baseball forum but: i think it's insecure guys that think maxing out irrelevant stats is what you need to get women driving the narrative. Yes some women say they want one thing, but they all def dont date all gigachads. Funny schlubby regular guys get nice looking women on occasion.
Another thing, they can't tell about height difference for shiz. lol Or it could be due to guys lie about their height. Bunch of 5'9 dudes out here lying about being 6 feet.
